It's that time! 💜 Visited Rannerdale last week with friends from the south who hadn't been here before. They weren't too fussed at the prospect, having recently walked through bluebell woods near their home! It goes without saying, they were completely blown away....oops, I did just say it! 😜

It's been a while! Approx 4 months since I posted on my insta feed! I've been keeping a picture diary by posting our adventures in 'Vanabelle' on insta stories & popping them in highlights! Goodness! Just realised I haven't posted anything on my feed since the bluebells were blooming, last April! I tend to use instagram to keep a record of our adventures in our motorhome & post these in my stories & in highlights! I do however, like a 'nice' pic so thought I'd bob this one on here as it's a reminder of our recent trip to the Isle of Mull & the Cairngorms! However, this isn't a pic of either of those places! 😜 It's one I took from the site where we stopped the night, on our way to catch the ferry at Oban!

A beautiful bluebell bimble (see what I did there!) 😜 with @sweet_lilithandworm to Rydal yesterday! We beat the crowds for sure, as it'll be rammed at the weekend no doubt! Such a spectacle, with a lovely backdrop too & unusual in that they're on open ground & not blooming in the woods.

Just a few paces from Castlerigg Stone Circle, at the corner of the field, you gain a lovely view down the valley, along the Helvellyn range of fells.

We hadn't been to Buttermere for ages so last Sunday decided to walk the circuit round the lake. We'd forgotten how busy it gets there at the weekend & although we struggled to park, we managed to find some quieter spots to sit and admire the beauty around us.
