NEW BAND PICTURES.

Because apparently at some point you have to stop rehearsing and look like a band again.

So we did.

For a few minutes.

Then we went back rehearsing.

WEEK 2.

So... apparently one week of rehearsing wasn’t enough.
We’re back in the room for round two of OERSOEP.
The good news: we know more than we did last week.
The bad news: now we also know how much we still have to do.
Anyway.

Week 2 has started.
More music, more details, more things that sounded easier on paper.
We’ll keep you posted.

Maandag komt de EP van 𝗢𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗢𝗘𝗣 uit — drie nummers uit de voorstelling. Om stil te staan bij wat verloren gaat, en tegelijk het leven te vieren dat er nog is.

KOBI’S POV.

We gave Kobi the camera.

He understood the assignment.
Unfortunately.

A full OERSOEP day through his eyes:
trombone, keys, rehearsals, questionable decisions and a surprising amount of confidence for someone holding the camera himself.

Patrick survived his POV.

Now it’s Kobi’s turn.

Who should we trust with the camera next?

PATRICK’S POV 👀.

We gave Patrick a camera for the day.

Was that a good idea?

You decide.

This is OERSOEP through Patrick’s eyes:

This is the first one in our POV series.

The others are coming too.

Who do you want to see next?
Choose wisely.

SOME LOVE FOR SOME OF THE CAST.

Yes. Some.

We haven’t managed to photograph everybody yet.
Apparently people are busy rehearsing a theatre show.

So the rest will get their moment later.

For now, some of the people we’ve been spending an unreasonable amount of time with lately:

@nimuewalraven
@olafaittami
@camilochapela
@rebekkanilsson
@matthiassigurdsson

Actors, dancer, director, composer.

Basically the people making sure OERSOEP becomes more than five brass players standing around making noise.

The others are coming.
We just need to catch them first.

Not much daylight. Quite a lot of brass. 🎺

This is what building OERSOEP looks like so far.

Working through the music. Trying things again. Getting into the details. Occasionally disappearing under a curtain.

18 moments from our rehearsals in Groningen. The last one probably needs an explanation, but we don’t have one.

Follow us to meet the people behind the instruments and come with us from the rehearsal room to the stage. More music, familiar faces and questionable backstage behaviour coming your way. 👀

What should we show you next: the music or the backstage chaos? 👇

DAY 1 👀

Five weeks of intensive rehearsals in Groningen start today, and as you can see, we went straight into the music.

No easing into it. We immediately started working through all the different pieces and building the musical world of OERSOEP together.

There is also a lot of original music coming your way. We cannot share that with you just yet, but we honestly cannot wait for you to hear it. 🎺

Over the coming five weeks we will take you with us behind the scenes.

Rehearsals, new music, jams, backstage moments and everything in between.

What would you like to see from inside the rehearsal room? 👇
