WE ARE LIVE 🥹 Blended by Kalana was created for something I couldn’t find: joy that could actually keep up with all of me and my version of a perfect life. The version of me out with my friends, laughing until 4 a.m. The version spending the day with my patients — hands in sanitizer over and over, changing gloves and washing them constantly. The version at the gym, sweating through a good workout. A self-care night full of loving moments, or the pool at some random point in time. I wanted pieces that could last through everything we do as humans — not just the moments that seemed fitting, but all of them. I love mixing metals — gold and silver together. I feel as if my entire personality is just as versatile: diverse, with a blended life of hardworking moments, love of family and friends, and love of people. I’ve learned to love jewelry as a whole, and I feel naked without wearing some type of jewelry, or something, on. It took me one day to build my LLC and create my brand. It took me five months to learn the craft, and many of those months were pure research — figuring out what would last forever and still be genuinely good to you. Because here’s the part I care about most: good things that last shouldn’t be out of reach. That’s the whole heart behind Blended — the idea that your friend made this for you, and your children after. That a friend of a friend is creating joy that lasts: jewelry for daughters, sons, grands, and everybody in between, made to last forever. I’ve got many things in the works as time goes on with working full time getting ready to apply for med school, but right now I want to focus on the simple, everyday pieces I think you’ll truly love. Pieces you can rock at any stage of life. (I also think names are weird, but we can talk about that another day.) That’s why “Never Naked” and “Blended” came about. You never have to take them off, or feel naked. You can if you want to — go ahead, put your lotion on — but they’ll never be a problem in your life.
