As someone who's started recovery, hearing me sing this year ago, i didn't realize I was destroying my life with addiction it almost killed me a number of times. I lost all I had and even the ones I loved truly and may never get back . There is only up from this now. This new CharlestheFirst release hits hard. Charles has always been a huge inspiration to me since the beginning. I feel every one of these lyrics. Life may not be the same, with lose, change, and heartbreak, but to hear his voice again on a song that is freshly released has brought back something i haven't done in a minute, which is also to create. These clips go as far back as 2016 when life was easy to 2020 when it so felt to present day where things don't feel the same. Some clips have been cut short because it's the past, others extended. But this song gives me hope, and I feel the spark again. I'm still dreaming of this show at meow wolf pretty lights with my closest friends.
