Happy Father’s Day to the best dad anyone could ever ask for. I never thought I would be writing a post like this, but here I am. Dad, I hope you know how much your testimony has impacted others. You worked your butt off those last few weeks and amazed everyone, especially in those final days, showing off mobility skills that shocked the doctors. I can’t be mad, that’s exactly what I prayed for. I prayed that you would shock the doctors with your strength and faith, and that your story would draw people closer to God. His timing is perfect. So perfect that not only did you believe in God, but you gave your life to Christ and were baptized in less than four weeks of you reuniting with Jesus. I am just so proud of you. Your warm hugs, big smile, surprise coffee deliveries, biggest cheerleader, strong work ethic, and gentle personality always made me feel so special. Anyone who knows me knows you, because we were truly best buds! As much as I want to scream or get angry, I can’t. God answered my prayers..just a little differently than I expected. He blessed me with a loving fiancé who you cared for dearly. I see so much of your gentle, tender-hearted nature, work ethic, and ability to put someone in their place in my sweet Christian. I wish I could have seen you dancing with Jesus. I know it was beautiful because of how giddy you were when you gave your life to Christ and were baptized in that hospital room. You have always told me and Christian that our marriage will work if we keep Christ at the center. Your relationship with Mom has always been the example of that for us, especially during the most challenging times. Watching the two of you lean on faith through every trial has shown us what true love, commitment, and trust in God look like. Your testimony has helped with not only my faith, but also the foundation of our future marriage. I know you were excited about walking me down the aisle and sharing our first dance, but it would be selfish of me to be upset. It’s even more beautiful knowing you’re watching from Heaven, where you and God have front-row seats and can see all the behind-the-scenes moments that no one else can. I love you❤️ by @k.ray10
