Driving 10 hours after a long girls weekend to see my fave band?
TOTALLY WORTH IT🤘🖤🔥
Getting to see a @whenthesunsetsil show with the one and only @your.elder.emo.mom ? PRICELESS 🥹🫶
Having them play a deep cut off the set list just for me? MORE CORE MEMORIES🙏🥹
It’s been 2 weeks since this awesome show in VABeach and post show blues have long since set in…and I know it’s gonna be tough for our friends in WTSS too since they finished the longest tour of their lives to date. Congratulations guys!
Cheers to the next one and many many more!!🤘🖤🍩🔥🙏 by @k.s.whitt

THIS.🖤
This is my very favorite part of every @whenthesunsetsil show and how I found them in the first place. This is where they convey the raw emotion behind the mission of their music. I’m so glad that @your.elder.emo.mom got to experience it with me in person.🥹 by @k.s.whitt

When you can’t make it to your favorite band’s show, do the next best thing…send your son, who is also a SUPERFAN. Jay and his heroes the @whenthesunsetsil boys.

Jay gave each of the guys some prism art he had made🤘🖤

Thank you @breewhittington , our sweet niece, who took Jay to the show and enjoyed it almost as much as he did. Thank you for all the pics and vids that made me feel as if I was there♥️

Came Up Short is the current explosive opening of the show…Jay came right out with the first song jumping up to the ceiling 😆

Jay hangin’ with Dunker and the boys 😎

Jay hangin’ with @freefriendsgil during his fave song Shapeshifter 🤘🖤

Jay and his concert buddy Gil (super talented drummer for @freefriendsrock 🥁)

Jay tried out a new dance move during Serotonin Sunrise🙌

Jay and his mega-talented drumming idol @adamgaydrums 🥁🤘

An awesome clip from “Undertow”, in which Jay tries to emulate @whenthezacksets ‘s iconic jump and kick split during the bridge!🙌🤘👏

Jay and Bree with the band, with @whentherobsets and @whentheantsets as the strong photo bookends😆

Jay is jump-dancing so hard that he propels himself towards the stage!🤪 Then he remembers that he needs to check on his buddy Gil. 🥹

Jay signed a card for the Heart Support Wall for @heartsupport_raleigh and @heartsupportcarolinas 🙏👏

Jay and his front row head bangin’ buddy Patrick tear it up during the encore song of “Hope” 🤘😆

So proud of Jay for adding these beautiful encouraging words to the Heart Support Wall 🥹♥️

We were floored by the beautiful note for Jay on his autographed setlist…thank you @whenthesunsetsil from the bottom of our hearts for treating Jay with such kindness and for making him feel like “one of the guys”…we are all blessed to be a part of this extended WTSS family🥹🫶🤘 taken in Stanczyks Music Bar by @k.s.whitt

Here is “Shapeshifter”…one of Jay’s favorite @whenthesunsetsil songs. Thanks so much to the whole band for all the support and to @steezy_boy_drums and @whenthezacksets in particular for the inspiration. Jay wants to perform the whole WTSS catalog eventually 🤘🖤🥹 by @k.s.whitt

Wanted to post this song from Metro in its entirety for a couple reasons…one, the original got cut off in my show post and didn’t feature @c.clinks collab with @whenthezacksets and WTSS…and being one of the most amazing women in the pop punk scene, she deserves all the air time in the world. It is so incredible how many artists (including many females) that @whenthesunsetsil features in their music. The pop punk scene is so wonderfully collaborative that way, and WTSS thru their kindness is particularly so. Also, this song helped me thru some very difficult times over the last year or so…on days I felt like I couldn’t “make it out of bed today” this song encouraged me that I could. Much Love🖤 taken in Metro Chicago by @k.s.whitt

It sure felt like an earthquake last night with @freefriendsgil bangin’ the drums, @freefriendsben on earth shattering lead vocals and guitar, and @freefriendslo slaying the cello and her verses! Such an awesome Sunday night with @freefriendsrock @neptunes.parlour 7/12/26 by @k.s.whitt
