The Browns went out during the offseason and picked up offensive weapon Jerry Jeudy, and addressed last year’s O-Line depth issue by signing plenty of backups. We excepted our offense to do nothing but improve, and to have the same dominant defense that was led by our very own DPOY.

Instead, we have THE worst offense in the league, and it’s not close. Here’s a few offensive stats to put it into perspective:

16.5 PPG (26th in the League), 186 YPG (31st in the League
151.5 PYDS (30th in the League), 116 Pass ATT (4th in the League), 4.8 pass AVG (32nd in the League)
94.8 RUYDS (26th in the League), 4.3 YPC (15th in the League)
3.8 YPP (31st in the League)

Watson has looked pedestrian, with 3 TDs and 2 INTs. Cooper can’t pull in a ball. And the defense has taken a major leap backwards from where they were last year, despite the little change it underwent.

But almost all of this goes back to our number one problem. The offensive line. It is by far the worst offensive line in the NFL, and is the reason that this season is over. We have been unable to run the ball, with our mediocre yards per carry average only existing because of how few carries the team has, and the couple long rips that Jerome Ford has. Stefanski has drawn up every single play be a simple checkdown to “compliment” the line, which Watson barely has time to get off, causing our abysmal passing numbers.

There are specific parts of the line that need to be addressed, not for this season, but for the future. The line has allowed a league worst 19 sacks so far, and had allowed 114 pressures going into this game. The injury problem hasn’t changed from last year, with our tackle depth non-existent, Wyatt Teller going to IR, and Ethan Pocic going down in the first half of today’s game.

The guys who are playing have been horrendous. I’m mainly referring to Dawand Jones. This season, he has a PFF grade of 34. He is 6’7 and has the mobility of a discord moderator. He is out of shape, and couldn’t block a cyber bully. He needs to be benched. I pray Nick Chubb doesn’t play a game, and we trade him somewhere far away. I hate to say it, but it’s time to clear house and rebuild AGAIN. by @k.swizzy.g
