It is here! The prompt list to #julybugweek for this year - rhyming all the way once again!
Reminding you all that all kinds of ways of creating for the week is accepted and welcomed - maybe it’s your sketches you’re going to show, maybe it’s same one bug for every prompt but maybe each prompt gets another take - free to interpret in any way! 🫧

Last year gave me such a good mood boost by showing me all your love for the bug week and I loved seeing so many creatives participating and having suuch different approaches to given prompts so I am ready to re-live this joy this year all over again.

Each day I’ll be reviewing the hashtag #julybugweek26 (pay attention that it has a 26 in the end!) and picking some of my faves and will be showcasing them in my stories! So when posting - tag me and write the hashtag #julybugweek26 so I can easily see it!

The challenge is happening on the last full week of July 22-28

Happy World Book Day today! 🌱
And for this day I am happy once again thinking about my book I illustrated for @commedesgeants • @milky_way_picture_books

This year in BCBF I’ve met with the printed mockup of the book in the fair and now even stronger cannot wait for it to be published and to be close in my hands..

For now - here’s some sweet sweet first sketches of it - I feel so fond of this character and it’s journey in the book you’ll soon also find out about. by @k0.za

It’s a new day, fun day and the bug is happy! 🌀

Day three of #julybugweek26 gathers all dancing, bouncing, smiling happy bugs together.

As I like to make things more complicated for me I made four little happy bugs for today just because I liked all the sketches so much I couldn’t descide which happy bug is the one! So all of them was the choice. by @k0.za

Wake up, go outside, stop at every flower to smell, no rush at all - today’s bug is slow for day two of #julybugweek26 🐌

I cannot resist and have to include some kind of prompt that will lead me to drawing slugs! This year a never before seen sight - the slug is taking a sniff of a flower and extending his whole nose at it. by @k0.za

When sun sets and it’s dark to go
A bug rests itself in half a nut dome.
Lits up his light, gets cozy there
There’s always a nap spot somewhere.

And so it begins! The first day of our one week journey with little bugs on #julybugweek26 🌰

Todays prompt - bug is cozy. And for me cozy straight ahead means getting cozy for a nap - in a nook somewhere to snooze. So here he is - in a half a nut shell cozied up to sleep.
