Every warm moment in your home has a backup band you probably never noticed. The low rumble of the dryer. The steady hiss of the shower. The bubble of green chile stew simmering on the stove. Natural gas has been keeping the beat for years, so we decided to give it some proper airtime.

We teamed up with New Mexico Gas Company to curate the “Sounds of Gas” playlists: hot tracks to vibe to for laundry day, kitchen time, shower hour, and fireplace cozy. Turn it on and turn it up. Link in bio. by @k2mdcreative

After 30 years together, you learn a few things about business, relationships, and the glue that keeps it all together.

We spent a long day in the bathroom with our client to get this spot just right. The latest installment of our “Sounds of Gas” video series, we’re helping New Mexico Gas Company show customers how they keep the hot water flowing (and the self-care going) day in and day out.

Even when their customers aren’t thinking about it, New Mexico Gas Company is keeping New Mexicans cozy: hot showers, stovetop dinners, and fresh, clean clothes out of the dryer. We captured these small, but heartwarming moments for the newest video series in NMGC’s latest campaign. A reminder that the dedicated people behind your utility bill are also responsible for warming homes, hearts, and besties.

Check out the first video in the “Sounds of Gas” series, captured in the laundry room.

Our client, bioAffinity Technologies, is changing the future of lung cancer. A fast-growing biotechnology and laboratory services company, they’ve developed a non-invasive device that can accurately detect lung cancer as early as Stage 1, which has the potential to save countless lives and healthcare dollars. As cutting-edge as their science is, their website was outdated. They needed a site that better reflects their expertise, ingenuity, and sophistication while maintaining a robust library of information for doctors, scientists, and investors seeking to learn more. What we built for them shows bioAffinity Technologies in a more authentic light, showcasing their own people, their pioneering technology, and an easily navigable trove of content demonstrating their expertise and efficacy. We call it a breath of fresh air.

A camera. A community. And a building with an incredible story. We spent an ordinary day at Amy Biehl High School, following students, staff, and teachers through their everyday, and what we found was anything but ordinary. Kids who are unapologetically themselves. Teachers who genuinely love what they do. A community built around curiosity and empowerment. Then, there’s the building itself: a stunning historic former post office and courthouse in the heart of downtown Albuquerque, charming enough to double as a Hollywood film location (yes, that’s the Oppenheimer courthouse). The story was always there. We have the privilege of telling it.

Memories from Camp Addy! by @k2mdcreative

We are honored to have our work recognized at New Mexico’s American Advertising Awards this past weekend. Advertising that turns heads and moves hearts is not possible without the trust of our clients and a team that believes in one another. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who had a hand in making the work better, and congratulations to all who won this year. by @k2mdcreative

When federal policy changes and mandatory platform migrations threatened healthcare coverage for thousands of New Mexicans, BeWell didn’t simply promote Open Enrollment. Instead, we built a yearlong communications strategy to prepare both existing and new customers. Every message was designed to reduce confusion, build trust, and retain coverage, from awareness messages deployed months in advance of Open Enrollment, positioning health insurance as a pathway to a better life, to Be Ready, a dedicated preparation campaign guiding customers through policy and system changes, to a focused Open Enrollment push driving action and free enrollment support. Open Enrollment resulted in a 17% increase in enrollment, marking BeWell’s third consecutive record-breaking year, despite other states experiencing enrollment declines and widespread coverage losses.

Despite major federal shifts to health insurance in 2025, BeWell, New Mexico’s Health Insurance Marketplace, reached record enrollment for the third year in a row, while other states saw steep decreases. That momentum reflects a focused communications effort to prepare New Mexicans. It is also largely a result of state-funded assistance that has kept coverage within reach. However, those subsidies expire June 2026, putting thousands of New Mexicans at risk of losing essential care. We partnered with BeWell to share real voices of New Mexicans whose lives depend on state support, underscoring why continued investment in affordable coverage matters now more than ever.

Big news for New Mexico families. Universal Child Care is here! We are the first state to subsidize 100% of child care for all working or student parents and guardians, regardless of income. We developed this campaign for the New Mexico Early Childhood Education and Care Department to bring this groundbreaking program to life. Our spot showcases the program’s impact through playful animation that connects us to the classroom and a future full of possibilities. This public service announcement is the centerpiece of a larger campaign, featuring real parent and provider testimonials, to educate, inspire support and participation, and bring New Mexicans together. Check out the full campaign on our website now! Link in bio.
