What’s • Your • Why? Breaking down why I’m wearing what I’m wearing, so you can find your own flow in the closet. My why: I wanted bare shoulders and easy changes at a sample sale, fullness and comfort in the pants, and another block of color from the blue sweater. All of this topped with my father’s trench added masculinity and grounded the brights, making a look that would’ve otherwise read very summer feel ready for fall. Try this: • Start with a piece you’re excited to wear. • Build with shapes and colors that support how you want to feel. • Add what’s missing: warmth, ease, strength, protection. Knowing how you want to feel is just as important as knowing how you want to look. Save this for when you’re stuck in the closet wondering “what do I wear with this?” by @k2ra

Transition is hard. It can also be good, but only if we make room for both. For 19 years, I’ve worked in fashion: 15 years in women’s design and the last four focused on content marketing, styling, client education, client experience, and brand engagement. Through all of it, I’ve carried a designer’s eye and a salesperson’s heart. But who am I telling? You already know. You’ve seen it on IG Live, in the fitting room, and in our styling sessions. Our conversations may have begun with clothes, but they always ended with so much more. My enthusiasm for the clothes, the work, the industry, and its people has never left me. And it never will. I’m not going anywhere. My next chapter comes from all of it: understanding how clothes are made, how products are bought, sold, and marketed, and how to help people see themselves more clearly in what they wear. Whether you’re reworking the wardrobe you already own, deciding what deserves your hard-earned dollars, packing for somewhere new, or trying to understand what this version of your life requires, I can meet you where you are and help you articulate where you’re going. I’ve been waiting to wear this jacket and jean for quite some time now. I have a few things in my closet that are interesting, but ill fitting that I just can’t be bothered to tailor, so I just find a way and make it work.
