HAPPY PLACE IS LIVE 🖤This project looks nothing like I thought it would when I started it. Last year threw a lot of curveballs and the vision for the film had to adapt along the way. I believe everything happens for a reason though, and I’m grateful these setbacks gave me a chance to tell a story. Blending this story with skiing in a way that feels unique and true to me has been an eye opening experience, and looking back I wouldn’t change anything about the last year.This film is the result of a lot of blood (literally), sweat, and tears, but it’s equally the result of some amazing opportunities and people that have helped shape this journey. In particular I want to thank my filmers @imnatefast @blauproduction @patodiazfilms and @shotbro_nz for all the hard work they put in to help me realize my vision. Thanks for making it all possible. Having this chance to express myself in front of the camera means the world to me. I’ve drawn so much inspiration from ski films throughout my life, and finally making one of my own has been a dream come true. I can honestly say that I poured everything I have into making this, and I’m so stoked to finally share it with you guys. GO RUN THAT SHIT UP🖤 by @k3ndall.goodman

I was spinning park laps at Mammoth a few weeks ago when @johnlejins introduced himself and asked if he could shoot some photos. Later that night and he sent me a folder of images and I was blown away by what he had captured. We talked some more in the coming days and something clicked. It was clear that we shared a lot of the same creative values, and I was super intrigued by some of his ideas surrounding ski media.When John had the idea for this mini-project I immediately knew I was down, so we shot one more day in Tahoe and he started cooking on the editing. Sharing a vision and seeing it come to life like this is a pretty cool experience, and I couldn’t be more hyped on how it turned out 🖤 by @k3ndall.goodman
