Turtle or Torture by Kait Loughran :D

This song is about an energy that has finally evaded me after years of emotional and spiritual "turtle"🐢. I wrote it on 5/5/26 (WOW, exactly a month ago!) and polished it up just now. I hope you enjoy!

How long will it take?

Thoughts of you surround my mind
Sometimes? I know I'll make it out alive,

PS- ik I said I was getting off socials.... what I've realized is that my main issue with socials rn is doomscrolling and the like, so I'm keeping the app, but will be decently slow to answer bc my notifs are/have been off. I won't be posting on my story a ton either, but I'll be coming on from time to time to share my art/what's been going on in my life. There is also something to be said about being an actor/creative and using Instagram to network, so that is another factor in play with me staying on here to some degree. Either way, if you're having a hard time reaching me on here, text me instead! by @k4hoot

UCF 2021 - 2026🎓⚔️💛
I am so grateful for my journey at this school, chaotic and random as it may have been at times. I started out in 2021, undeclared and surrounded by insanity, but I found an unexpected path for myself within the BFA Acting program by my sophomore year. And even though I decided to change my major for my final year, I owe so much to all of my professors and acting cohort. You all helped me grow so much as an actor and a person. I'm glad to have so many memories to look back on with you guys and I am excited to work with each of you again one day :)

I feel like graduating with a general degree (BIGS) was the perfect way to bookend my college experience because I originally approached UCF with an open mind and an undeclared path, and I am now approaching life in that same undeclared fashion. I am a creative, in all forms of the word, and I don't want to choose to limit myself to only one form.... so I've decided that no limits will be set and no rules followed. I am guided by the Universe and my passions, and I am excited to see where I venture next!

From "My condolences!" to "Oh, yes ma'am!"

Project Spotlight has been a part of my life since 2022 and I will forever cherish the friendships that have bloomed as a result and the memories that never fail to bring a smile to my face. I have now acted, directed, and written for this program and I am so happy to know that my soul has left a print here.

I remember getting my first role as The Deuce in The Family Business, no one knew me, I was a fresh face... covered in blood. And then.... people KNEW me. I will forever appreciate the confidence, community, and craft that I found when I first discovered Project Spotlight and I strive to continue forward with the same drive and determination for my art and creative endeavors.
