Leafeon! 🌿
Finished this cosplay in July last year and I finally have some decent pictures 🥲 (although I must admit I've been sitting on these for a while). Took Leafeon out for a spin at Archeon Midzomerfair and had a blast! I think the armour looks so cooool

Of course, i too was out and about during the solar eclipse. It just took me a while to edit the pictures and properly create the timelapse.
Was fully thinking i was gonna use my new Z5 for this, but realised on time that my good old D3300 would do this so much better and with a higher resolution.

Lucky that i did, because that kept my Z5 free to shoot some other pictures.

I ordered some solar foil online and then 3D printed my own lens mount with magnets to clamp the foil and keep it straight. (see pic number 4).

Anyway, enjoy these few pictures i took, and the timelapse composed of 523 individual pictures, all taken roughly 10 seconds apart!

Location scouting for another cosplay shoot in the Arboretum in Wageningen! A lot of trees were in full bloom. Tried taking my 50mm chinese lens for a spin. This thing has an amazing bokeh! But if you want to get close ups of the little frogs, you're gonna have to zoom lens. I'm really happy with the new zoomlens I have. Without it, I definitely wouldn't have captured this frog in the middle of a croak!

Is it too late for snowy pics? I'm not that fast with editing I'm afraid 😅 but we had a serious pack of snow a few weeks ago, and right before it was all gone some friends and I took the opportunity to create some cool shots with thrown together fantasy looks! (swipe for blooper👉)
