🪞 Exciting news! 🪞

I’m thrilled to announce the launch of Mirror Coffee, a specialty coffee stand with a vintage library theme, accompanied by a free little library! I will be starting with pop-ups inside my favorite restaurant in town, @moto_fresno

I am deeply honored to have been invited to showcase Mirror Coffee at the renowned Moto Brunch, taking place from 10 am to 2 pm on October 29th. Save the date! I can’t wait to pour you something pretty ❤️

THREE years at Alchemist Coffee Lab !

And today, I officially completed my (planned and self-imposed!) demotion from General Manager to part-time Barista so I can focus solely on…

1. Roasting!!
2. Continued coffee education for staff + beyond
3. Being the best little @alchemistcoffeelab barista I can be 🥰
4. BUT MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL: resting + preparing for the next big stages in growing my own business, @mirrorcoffee !

I’ve worked in a whole bunch of coffee shops since 2007 (!) but honestly, my time spent specifically at Alchemist has been the most all-around rewarding of all.

The support and experience I’ve received there has been absolutely life changing, and I’m so very grateful to be continuing to show up and serve my Alchemist community in this new capacity ❤️ by @k8efriesen

A lucky seven years together so far—

My lil sweet potato, Mini, turns 13✨ by @k8efriesen

After almost 2.5 years roasting coffee professionally, today was the day that I taught my first real coffee roasting class!

The @alchemistcoffeelab team took the day off from the shop to come by (our cute new warehouse location in Clovis) to help me roast and package some kg’s of our current beans, followed by a blind cupping highlighting four different origins.

(+ pizza to soak up the caffeine, by @alchemyincrust )

I am so excited for the opportunity to be soon dedicating more time growing this roasting side of business for both Alchemist and @mirrorcoffee — and hopefully hosting more classes for all in the future ✨

THIRTY-NINE YEARS ?!

Although this isn’t at all the life I’d been planning to live at this age, it’s in some ways…better ✨

Thanks to all my Alchemist and Moto buds, family, bf and besties
for ensuring I felt appreciated and loved— yesterday especially! ❤️ by @k8efriesen

It was time to say bye bye to Big Red today; so very grateful for our years cruising together 😢 🚘 ❤️ by @k8efriesen
