had the pleasure of photographing the lovely Taylor (@by_xtee ) this past weekend upstate. I met Taylor through our mutual close friend Slosh a few times YEARS ago in college, and getting to shoot and hang out with them for a few hours felt like reconnecting with an old friend I had known in another lifetime. I hope y’all love this series just as much we loved making it.

yesterday I woke up and got my eyebrows threaded after not touching them for a year and because I’ve been listening to bey’s renaissance album nonstop I was absolutely feeling myself. so I grabbed my camera and took these moody self portraits because why tf not?

had the honor of photographing my childhood friend Juliette and her girlfriend Holli in their home last weekend. I’ve known Juliette since we were in elementary school and since we were on the same dance team (shoutout to NDI) for 5 years. she had always been this electric, unapologetic person growing up who inspired younger me to be myself and not take shit from anybody. to reunite and see that she still remained as warm, compassionate and electric as she was back then was a pleasure. this was my first time shooting a couple and for them to be queer felt so important to me. being a guest in their home, I immediately sensed this beautiful energy and mutual respect they had for one another and wanted to capture that intimacy. neither Juliette nor I were out when we knew each other as kids and to be able to reunite and shoot her and Holli during pride month meant so much to me. I hope y’all enjoy these just as much as I do ♥️

it’s the shoes and art taste for me!!! @ginabygina

Also, shoutout to Gina’s talented brother Kenneth who is an incredible artist that makes paintings, drawings, pottery, and even tats. Please check out his dope ass work on his ig @hokiepokietattoo —some of which are hanging behind Gina in these photos!!
