A perfect port day in Halifax, Nova Scotia! We spent the day eating all the foods that were recommended to us! 😍

We first started at Cafe du Port for the most amazing croissants and coffee. Then we traveled to Tony's world famous donaires which were eye opening. I had no idea gyros could taste so perfect! I didn't know I needed to have one of these until I tasted one and now all other gyros will be inferior. The perfect combination of savory and sweet. 😚👌🏻 We finished by going to Willy's for poutine. This little spot had such character and the staff were incredible and charismatic. Poutine in Canada is a whole different world of delicious! I hope to find something that could remotely resemble the drool factor that Willy's provided. It was highly recommended and we understand why.

The people of Nova Scotia were so friendly and pleasant to be around. Everyone we met was beyond kind and such a pleasure to be around. We definitely are coming back to visit and I recommend every spot we went to.

One of my favorite things about the craft beer industry is the incredible people you encounter along the way. One of these people is the very talented @chrispapallo. Let's talk about Chris for a sec. Chris may be one of the most passionate brewers I've ever encountered. His attention to detail blows me away and it shows in every beer he brews. I am fortunate enough to have been friends with Chris for about a decade now. I can tell you first hand how his love for beer and his drive and dedication has flourished into creating @ereditabeer. As his one year anniversary approaches on Nov. 11th... I couldn't be more thrilled for Chris. 🙌

I got a chance to drink @ereditabeer on tap at @twelve.percent.beer.project last week. It didn't disappoint. From crispy bois, NE IPAs, to stouts... he's got it all! I don't say this lightly - because his beers are incredibly well balanced and delicious. Personally, I think that this is a brewery to keep an eye on because I see nothing but great things for Chris and for Eredita.

As a side note, these pictures were all taken after a double brew day and he's still smiling and loving it. Cheers to Eredita's bright future!! 🍻

A huge 👏👏👏 to @yankeerunner77 for an amazing event for a cause that touches all of us one way or another. #fuckcancer I can't even express how motivating it is to see Jose in his natural habitat inspiring others to be a part of something so positive and inclusive for everyone. Much love to Jose, his wife, and his beautiful mother who was the flame to ignite @melesaswings. Anyone who has experienced cancer personally, or through a friend, a family member, or a kind neighbor... please take a minute and jump over to @yankeerunner77 page and participate in the raffle to raise money for cancer research. ♥️

We took a long weekend in MA & CT for my birthday last week and it was just what I needed and I didn't know. Thank you @msherms for an awesome, laid-back, go with the flow kind of weekend. We went and saw @theproblem @johnmulaney and Pete Davidson. There may have been some 🍆 jokes. 🤪🙊 We ate everywhere... it was awesome. I even won some money. 🙌 I'm always down for recommendations of your favorite spots in the NE. I will always travel for amazing beer and delicious food. 😉 Life is good. I 💛 this beer. It's clean. It's delicious. It's beautiful.

On a side note... I'm really glad that I bought a metric ton of these rubber duckies months ago to post when Lost Abbey released their latest batch of DDG. It has and still is one of my favorite beers. As you can tell... life got busy and here we are months later. It still lives up to the hype. 🙌 taken in The Lost Abbey by @k8ters

Forever Darkness 🖤

Life is so busy now & I don't get out so much these days but once in a while... there's a window. 🙌 Last week we got to see some old friends and drink some delicious beers. Nothing better than hugging friends in real life. ❤️

This @sideprojectbrew & @anchoragebrewing Collab was delicious. This beer is... Slutty. You know you shouldn't but you want to drink the whole bottle. The vicious mouth feel was perfection. The smooth glare reminded me of nights out in the middle of the Pacific ocean where the waves seductively and continuously rolled as I gently moved the glass from side to side. This triple barreled stout is aged on both @willettdistillery bourbon and rye barrels. At 19% Forever Darkness was simply outstanding and incredibly well done.
