iPhone Camera settings and tools I’d recommend having on 🤳🏻

From 24MP, ProRAW, Grid & Level to Clean Up, Extend & Reframe. Simple yet impactful tools that give you a little more control over the final image.

Save this for later ✨

Putting the new iPhone 18 Pro Max camera system through its first few tests. The addition of Variable Aperture opens up more control over depth of field, letting me decide how much separation I want between the subject and the background rather than relying entirely on computational processing.

Then there’s Pro Control, which gives more direct control over the shooting process and makes switching between different setups feel much more intuitive.

But the feature I genuinely didn’t expect to enjoy this much is having these controls available in Portrait mode. Being able to shape the look of a portrait, control the aperture and experiment with different perspectives gives me another layer to play with.

Definitely more to explore 📸

The First Shoot, iPhone 18 Pro Max 📸

Variable Aperture and Pro Control were already interesting enough, but having that control work with Portrait mode genuinely caught me by surprise.

Didn’t see that coming. Now I’m curious to see how far I can push it.

More to come 🤳🏻

It all started with mobilegraphy. 📱📸 From sharing our passion for phone photography to becoming friends, we’ve come a long way.

More than 10 years later, mobile cameras have evolved, our photography has grown, and so has our friendship 🤝

Funny how a song can take you straight back to a certain time. I first heard Kodaline back in 2014, when @naivefhn introduced me to their music. Didn’t think those songs would end up following me for so many years, stuck with me and that I’d eventually get to see them live.

Last night felt a little different knowing it was their final concert. Just grateful to have been there one more time, singing along to songs that have been part of the journey for more than a decade.

To Steve, Mark, Jason and Vincent. Thank you for the music, the memories, and for giving these songs a life beyond the recordings.

Thank you for that one last @kodaline night in Malaysia.

Farewell 🤍
