It has been a few months since my grandfather, Ernest Akyeampong, passed away and over a month since his loved ones got to celebrate his life and lay him to rest. My grandpa, or “Papa” to my family, is as generous and thoughtful as any human could possibly be. He knows how to command a room with respect while making you laugh, but most importantly he is someone who has always had my back and best interests. I pray that I can possess as close to the level of love he demonstrates for others, and I hope that he knows the level of honor I have as being his grandson.

It has been over a month since my grandmother, Gladys Akyeampong, passed away and over two weeks since we laid her to rest and celebrated her life. She is the joy in my life & is one of my biggest supporters. My prayer is that her spirit of kindness and structure can be seen through me in everything and through everyone that I encounter moving forward. It brings me nothing but pride to call myself her grandson.❤️
