Loved the new work by Grace Degennaro at Cove Street Arts. Instagram crops too much but you get a sense of the skill & wonder. @gracedegennaro @covestreetarts

Just completed my first handmade book of prints & text. This is just a part of the 20 pgs. Hand bound with Japanese stab binding, intaglio drypoint on tetrapak, chine colle, silkscreen, relief, vellum, silver & gold leaf. "The Promise", this small piece was a labor of love. Delivered to Glickman Library at USM for exhibition in September.

Morning coffee in Maine. Resting, reading, icing & arnica. An 8# weight dropped on that puppy while cleaning up the studio last night 😏 by @k_katomski

After 2 weeks in London I immersed myself in a Book Arts Workshop. Jet lag be damned I spent two weeks learning Japanese sewing binding, folding methods, boxes, binding, glueing & more glueing, & new printing techniques. An intensive on "how to" with some very gifted printers & book artists. It was a humbling experience and I have gained deep respect for the art form & those that do it well. Thank you to Martha @strongarmbindery @evwong.art @elizabethjabar @richardreitzsmith @kcccba.usm
