While my guitar gently weeps (yeah) I been losing sleep, counting dreams I can’t keep (uh) Runnin’ from the past but it catch me deep (skrrt) In a Benz with the pain in the passenger seat Yeah, my guitar gently cries (cries) Every chord strum like a piece of my life Trap drums hit while I’m dead inside But I still make it sound like I’m feelin’ just fine I see kids with they ribs showin’ Moms prayin’ but the rent ain’t lowerin’ Streetlights flicker on the block of pain Where the strong don’t talk, they just walk through rain I know a soul that ain't ate in days Still give half of what little they saved World cold but the hearts still burn Tryna heal in a place that don't ever learn My guitar cry for the lost and broke For the ones tryna live but they barely cope For the friends I lost to the pills and smoke And the ones who smile but it’s all a joke We all tryna fight with our demons deep But some wars end in a permanent sleep So I strum every note like a silent plea Let the melody speak what we never could be #TrapSoul #GuitarVibes #MelancholyRap #RealOnesOnly #EmotionalBars #PainIntoArt #DeepLyrics #LostButAlive #SpeakThroughSound #kmacbeats by @k_mac_beats
