POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

i have officially played my last fastpitch softball game. if you asked me how i feel about it, i might cry, laugh, or honestly do both. the truth is, i’m not really sure what i’m supposed to feel. saying goodbye to something that has been such a huge part of my life is harder than i ever imagined.

this sport has taught me so much, given me countless memories, and brought me some of the best people i could’ve asked for. there were wins, losses, tears, laughs, hard days, and so many moments i’ll carry with me forever. i’m beyond thankful for these four years and for every girl who has been a part of them.

every person who came before me left an impact on me, and i hope i was able to leave that same kind of impact on the girls who come after me. always give it everything you have, be proud of the way you played, and never let one game or one error make you forget how much you’re capable of.

i’ll always miss the diamond, third base especially, the late nights, the dugout chants, the nerves before each game, and most of all, the people who made it all worth it. this is the hardest goodbye i’ve ever had to make, but i’ll forever be grateful for the privilege of playing this sport and for everything it gave me.
