Annayum Rasoolum (2013), A Love Story Carved in the Heart of Fort Kochi 🌊

If raw, soul-stirring romance had a name in Malayalam cinema, it would be Annayum Rasoolum (2013). Directed with poetic brilliance by Rajeev Ravi, this movie is less of a film and more of an intimate experience that stays with you long after the credits roll. Set against the rustic, timeless charm of Fort Kochi and Vypeen, the film traces the deep, poignant love story between Rasool (Fahadh Faasil), a quiet taxi driver, and Anna (Andrea Jeremiah), a reserved Latin Catholic girl. What starts with silent glances across ferry rides and narrow coastal alleys evolves into an intense, inescapable devotion.

Why It’s a Masterpiece:

Breathtaking Performances: Fahadh Faasil’s expressive eyes carry an entire unspoken world of emotion, while Andrea delivers a strikingly subtle, grounded performance.

Realistic Storytelling: Rajeev Ravi strips away cinematic clichés, offering a realistic, hauntingly beautiful portrait of love, religious barriers, and destiny.

Sensational Music: M. Jayachandran and K’s haunting soundtrack—especially "Kandu Njan Aakashathil"—adds a soulful layer that elevates every scene.

Visual Poetry: Madhu Neelakandan’s cinematography captures the essence of Kochi's backwaters, local life, and moody atmospheres like never before.

A timeless classic that re-defined modern romantic cinema in Kerala. Have you experienced the magic of Anna and Rasool’s story yet?

Before We Go (2014):"There is no perfect. There will always be struggle. You just have to pick who you wanna struggle with." ✨

Sometimes, a single unexpected night can change your entire trajectory. Before We Go (2014) marks Chris Evans’ directorial debut, starring alongside Alice Eve in a quiet, deeply intimate romantic drama set against the backdrop of New York City at night.

When Brooke (Alice Eve) misses the last train home after getting robbed, Nick (Chris Evans), a street musician, steps in to help. What starts as a series of unfortunate events turns into an all-night journey across Grand Central and Manhattan—filled with raw conversations, past regrets, vulnerability, and honest human connection.

It’s not your typical fairytale romance; it’s a realistic, comforting meditation on timing, choices, heartbreak, and learning when to hold on or let go. 🚕🎷 Heartfelt, understated, and beautifully shot—a must-watch for fans of quiet, character-driven films like Before Sunrise

Some films entertain you, while others shake you to your core and force you to confront uncomfortable truths. Mari Selvaraj’s directorial debut, Pariyerum Perumal (produced by Pa. Ranjith under Neelam Productions), is undeniably the latter.

At its surface, it’s a story of a young law student named Pariyan (brilliantly portrayed by Kathir) stepping into college with dreams of following in the footsteps of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. There, he forms a pure, innocent bond with Jothi (Anandhi). But beneath this gentle narrative lies a raw, unfiltered look at the brutal realities of systemic caste oppression and hegemony deeply rooted in society.

With soul-stirring music by Santhosh Narayanan and unforgettable imagery—symbolized eternally by the loyal dog Karuppi—this film isn't just cinema; it’s a mirror held up to humanity. It speaks of dignity, resilience, and the unyielding fight for equality.

A cinematic masterpiece that stays with you long after the credits roll. 🎬✨

Secrets have a cost. They're not free. Not now, not ever. Before he was an Avenger fighting across dimensions, Peter Parker was just a kid in Queens searching for the truth about his past. Directed by Marc Webb, The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) brought a grounded, emotionally charged, and visually stunning reimagining to Marvel’s iconic web-slinger.

Andrew Garfield’s portrayal of Peter Parker strikes a balance of brilliant awkwardness, razor-sharp quick wit, and deep personal struggle. Driven by the mysterious disappearance of his parents, Peter follows a trail of secrets straight into Oscorp and the lab of Dr. Curt Connors. One fateful spider bite transforms an outcast high schooler into New York’s protector, forcing him to carry the weight of heroism while learning Uncle Ben's ultimate lesson: with great power comes great responsibility.

What truly sets The Amazing Spider-Man apart is its heart. The electrifying chemistry between Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone’s Gwen Stacy gives the story its soul—tender, genuine, and impossibly charming. Paired with intense first-person web-swinging visual effects, a hauntingly beautiful score by James Horner, and the terrifying threat of the Lizard, this movie stands as a timeless modern comic book classic.

Whether you’re rewatching for the iconic banter, the high-flying action across Manhattan, or that rooftop scene, The Amazing Spider-Man proves why Peter Parker will always be our favorite friendly neighborhood hero. 🏙️🕸️

Annakiliye Released on September 28, 2026, Annakiliye is an atmospheric 3-minute 59-second Tamil indie-pop single composed and sung by debut artist Smith Asher alongside singer-lyricist Dhee, with presentation support from Anirudh Ravichander. Grounded in themes of romantic yearning and quiet devotion, Dhee’s lyrics utilize nocturnal imagery—such as thick mist, nightfall, and moonlight—to mirror emotional longing, expressed in the central chorus line "Annakkiliye nee varum vazhiye, allaadi pogudhu maname". Musically, the track bridges modern acoustic indie-pop with traditional nuance, layering soft guitar patterns, ambient synthesizer pads, and subtle classical swara iterations beneath the contrasting vocal dynamics of Asher's grounded lead and Dhee's signature raspy timbre.

When controlled variables collision lead to uncontrollable attraction✨

When third-year Stanford biology Ph.D. candidate Olive Smith (Lili Reinhart) impulsively kisses the first man she sees in a lab hallway to convince her best friend she’s completely moved on, she doesn't expect him to be Dr. Adam Carlsen (Tom Bateman)—the department’s most feared, brooding young professor.

Facing pressure to keep up the charade, the two agree to a mutually beneficial fake-dating arrangement: Adam helps Olive prove her love life is thriving, while Olive helps Adam convince Stanford officials that he isn't a flight risk to leave the department.

What starts as a strictly calculated experiment—complete with scheduled coffee dates, defensive protocols, and academic posturing—quickly goes off the hypothesis board. As real vulnerabilities surface beneath Adam’s notoriously icy exterior and Olive's career hits critical milestones, their carefully designed equation collapses into undeniable, high-stakes chemistry.

Adapted from Ali Hazelwood’s global phenomenon novel, The Love Hypothesis (2026) is streaming on Prime Video.
