Hoop2Heal is back; and we’re going bigger this season. 🏀

For the second year in a row, we’re proud to sponsor a local AAU team; investing in more than basketball.

Last season was about structure, mentorship, and intentional mental wellness support.
This season, we’re expanding the mission.

Because youth sports should develop more than talent.

They should build:
• Discipline
• Confidence
• Emotional resilience
• Leadership ❤️‍🩹

We’re now seeking a select group of community and business partners who believe in developing young people the right way.

If you’re interested in sponsorship opportunities, DM us or email info@hoop2heal.org.

Let’s build something that lasts.

Thank you to Third Future Schools at Linwood Public Charter School for sponsoring Hoop2Heal’s Fall Program last fall.🍂

Your support helped create a space where students could grow, connect, and focus on both wellness and confidence. We’re grateful for the opportunity to serve your community and for your commitment to supporting the whole student.❤️‍🩹

We appreciate the partnership and the impact we were able to make together and we can't wait to do it again!🏀🎸

As 2026 begins, we’re taking a moment to look back with nothing but gratitude. This year stretched us, challenged us, and reminded us why Hoop2Heal exists in the first place.

We built and competed with an AAU team, brought the community together for a Black History Month tournament, stepped into classrooms through a meaningful partnership, and even showed love by sponsoring a class reunion. Every move was about connection, growth, and showing up where it matters.

None of this happened alone. Every supporter, participant, partner, and person who believed in the mission played a role in making this year what it was.

Looking ahead to the rest of 2026, we’re excited and motivated. There’s a lot more on the way, and we’re committed to continuing the work with the same heart and intention. We hope you’ll keep rocking with us, pulling up, spreading the word, and supporting however you can.

Much love. Onward and upward, together. 🧡🏀

💜 We can’t help but reflect with gratitude on the amazing Byrd High School Class of 2015 Reunion this past weekend. As a sponsor, Hoop2Heal was proud to stand alongside a class that truly represents friendship, resilience, and community.

Thank you to the organizers and everyone who attended for allowing us to be part of your milestone. Here’s to many more years of success, joy, and togetherness for the Byrd family!

To the Byrd family: thank you for trusting us to play a small part in such a beautiful moment. We’re excited to keep building with you and continuing the mission of healing and hope through community.

🌟 Beyond the Game: Thank You to Our Sponsors & Donors 🌟

At Hoop2Heal, we believe in shaping more than athletes: we’re building resilient young men with dreams, discipline, and determination that reach far beyond the court.

This summer, our AAU team didn’t just play, they grew. With your support, we achieved incredible milestones:
🏆 1st place in three tournaments
🥈 2nd place in one
🎖️ Semifinalists in three national tournaments
🧠 Plus, we implemented group counseling and psychoeducation to strengthen their mental game as much as their physical one.

Today’s video is a lighthearted look at our players answering: “What would you be if you weren’t a hooper?”—a reminder that their identities, like their futures, are bigger than basketball.

None of this would be possible without our amazing sponsors, Bank of Montgomery and Hood Humanitarian LLC, and the many donors who invested in these young men’s journey. Your generosity turned a season into an opportunity, a team into a family, and games into life lessons.

From the entire Hoop2Heal family: thank you for believing in our mission and our players.
