Well, somehow this man has made it to 80. EIGHTY. And if you know BV, you know he has absolutely no intention of acting his age.

80 years of talent, mischief, questionable advice, extraordinary stories, and an unwavering commitment to doing things HIS way.

He’s a legend to the world, but to me, he’s just Dad. Equally brilliant, ridiculous, infuriating, and impossible not to love.

Happy 80th Birthday, Dad. You’ve certainly never been boring. ❤️

Love you! by @kabaravereen

Today Pippin turns 11! It’s been a challenging year health wise but we keep fighting. And thanks to all for the support. This guy has seen me through so many important phases of life. I hold him tighter these days and cherish him more and more! Happy Birthday Pippin! by @kabaravereen

If you could ask #BenVereen one question, what would it be?

My father will be answering a selection of fan questions in an upcoming video, and we’d love to hear from you.

Whether you’re curious about #Broadway, #film, television, music, mentorship, memorable moments, or the lessons he’s learned throughout his remarkable career, now is your chance to ask.

Leave your question in the comments below. Ben will personally select a few to answer.

One small request: please keep your questions respectful and focused on his career, experiences, and life in the arts.

I can’t wait to see what you come up with.

The time I was on the Tony Awards red carpet and a photographer caught me in the most inconvenient pose imaginable. 😂

At least the makeup held up!

Dad was presenting with Usher that night, and Usher and I spent most of the ceremony acting like complete children. He kept making fun of my dress, and I kept reminding him, “It’s McQueen, darling!” Neither of us was particularly mature about the situation. And THE Harvey Fierstein who was sitting behind us chimed in through out a very long night making it funny and memorable.

Happy Tony Awards Sunday! 🎭✨ by @kabaravereen

“This wasn’t in the original @thegrayhouseseries script.”

Some of the most meaningful moments happen after the page is written.

In Part One of this conversation, @kabaravereen and I talk about how the graveyard scene evolved, the meaning behind the language, and why it became one of the most powerful moments in the series.

Watch and join the conversation below.
