much more than being called a ceo, i like being called a creative person, a chef in training, i’ll pick every title that best describes the skills im trying to show before that final title. i just like it that way.

i’m a very much gifted child. i like to take pride in the fact that i thrive anywhere i find myself. so working on everything that has to do with Kabs diner and Kabs Bar was so fun to me, the menu is tailored interestingly, the drinks are also the stars on their own.

one time i was listening to a Billie Eilish song and i could hear the clap that was used to build up a harmony, i spent the rest of the week listening to her songs, to see if i could pick up more of such things.

and pretty much that’s how i obsess over everything i do. i beam with pride when i see my results because every of the things i put out truly cost me sleepless nights. by @kabsss.s

my hair is pretty and my dress is prettier but yk what, i ended up at the police station.

my hot take: 1000 ways to go crazy; 1. own a business 2. own a food business 3. own a restaurant 4. own a business that requires external labour 5. existing as a business owner in nigeria…

on some days i’m happy with my work ,other days im sad that’s all i get to fixate on.
one time i got a chance to be a part of my friends big moment and i was able to join in on the call, everybody said omg we thought you were not going to pick. ouch that hurts. 😭

i do not live a fairly normal day because there’s a constant chase, when i get happy too long, there’s a sense of something waiting to happen or i get the nudge to just go to my front desk and ask if there’s any complain or problem because the sudden quiet makes me suspicious.

living on my ten toes all the time isn’t exactly cutesy but regardless i hold my head up high and wipe my tears behind the doors because there’s all of you that also believe in me and that makes it easier to wade through the storms on most days.

i truly can’t wait for it get easier, but they say wanting more comes with it’s own problems, i wonder if i’ll ever stop wanting more, maybe when i marry my billionaire man i’ll have a bit of rest. until then. taken in Ibadan, Nigeria by @kabsss.s

truly truly, it’s the people that i have that are my greatest support.

i did everything right but forgot one thing finalize the conversation to hire a photographer. im so hurt because words can’t properly explain the amount of people that showed up for my launch and bought food even.
the fun they had, the beautiful faces, the vibe, everything!

it was a carnival 🧡.

so so happy that what i do resonates with the coolest of people you can have in the room amongst every other thing.
romantically, i might have not won in life yet but in friendship it’s really the greatest blessing God has granted me with.

looked tea, i had a ball, everyone had a ball. wish i could just throw parties like that every other time, because it seems like everyone loves a good kabs time.
