These two know how to celebrate in style. The amount of thought that went into every detail for Kara + Dom’s big day is incredible.

From her custom dress she helped create to the 12 foot dessert table filled with homemade Italian treats, everything was immaculate.

Your people were fantastic, the dance floor was full and so many memories fit into one day.

Nothing beats a Midwest fall wedding! Sunny afternoon ceremonies followed by cocktails on the patio, beautiful fall colors, gorgeous florals, and a little chill in the air as the sun sets and the party moves inside. There’s just something about this time of year that makes a wedding feel extra special.

I’m off to the mountains for the weekend. Before I sign off you can swoon over Jared & Hannah’s engagement session last month in Chicago. Smiles from the jump with these two & it was so good to be back at north ave beach. Thank you guys for being so wonderful to work with. Can’t wait to celebrate you next year!

It was a great way to end the summer & now I’m unplugging to take in all the fall foliage in the Adirondack’s.

Maggie & Pat. There was an instant connection on our intro call. We had lots of crossing of paths between ties to Ohio and them currently living in Chicago wear I called home for 7 + years. We had a blast during their engagement session at the lake and I even stayed for a slice of pizza and a glass of wine with Pats family. It felt like old friends catching up.

Being a part of a wedding day is intimate and special. I get to meet your favorite people and freeze time with my lens. Thank you for trusting me with your day and I can’t wait to share a Chicago slice and a cocktail next time I’m in town.

When you dream of exchanging vows in Colorado because the Aspens are one of your favorite things, and Mother Nature happens to show off in exactly the way you hoped she would. Peak color, a cabin tucked into the mountains, and a weekend spent surrounded by family made this one feel especially personal.

After the vows, guests gathered back at the cabin for cocktails, complete with personalized embroidered napkins paired with each guest’s favorite drink waiting upon arrival. A private chef prepared a beautiful seasonal menu, served by candlelight as the mountains settled into the evening.

For the design, we paired a soft green and white linen with touches of blue with vibrant florals in classic fall tones, with nods to the plaid print incorporated throughout the stationery. Vellum wrapped menus finished with a simple monogram added an understated detail to a meal that was, after all, worth gathering around.🤍

There’s just something about the entryway at the @admiral_room

As your guests head up those gorgeous marble steps, why not greet them with a beautiful vignette, a flute of champagne, and a moment that says, “We’re so happy you’re here to celebrate with us!”

Because sometimes the best welcome isn’t a sign (but it sure does add to the vibe 😉) it’s a whole moment your guest will remember.

Some sessions feel like a full-circle moment. A few weeks ago, I caught up with @penrod_k and @dlscotchmer for their engagement photos in Cleveland, and it was so special. Dan and I go all the way back to high school and Kent State, which is where Kate and Dan’s love story started (Go Flashes!). Kate and I were both in Greek life and got to be apart of a lot of events together. After running into each other at various friends’ weddings over the years, getting the call to photograph their wedding this May in Cleveland is truly the best kind of full-circle. Counting down the months! 💍🌿
