It’s been over a year since I’ve written my newsletter, E-Pastiche, in its typical form and fashion— making a garment inspired by a film. Well, Hamnet was such a beautiful example of the storytelling power of clothes, I resumed my interest. More #memademay 🧵 wearing at least one thing I have made everyday for the whole month! Shane helped me with a little vid making me a paper doll 👑

1 - self drafted cotton twill shorts, Shane has a matching pair!
2 - raw silk pants and an Elizabeth Suzann Georgia Tee from a unique fabric from @domo__world
3 - self drafted plaid cotton shorts… hope to put these on my website soon for summer!
4 - self drafted bloomer pants in raw silk
5 - 40s reproduction pattern cotton top
6 - cotton “picnic at hanging rock” skirt, you know I love making and wearing these!
7 - Elizabeth Suzann silk slip, was always my favorite thing to make when working in the factory, paired with a tie top made from an old pillow case by @kacy_coyle

Getting dressed to leave the house, or stay in, wearing at least one thing I’ve made every day this month for #memademay :-) My first 7 days:
1- Self drafted dress in linen/cotton (coming soon!)
2- 1950s Simplicity 3438 in a plaid cotton and a wool vest from my days @elizsuzann
3- “Little Women” skirt (on my website!) in that same cotton plaid
4- Self drafted quilted cotton pants
5- Linen “Kara Snap Dress” from sewing for Elizabeth Suzann with some self drafted raw silk pants as bloomers
6- That Simplicity 3438 again
7- A linen Elizabeth Suzann “Petra” dress I customized with a vintage patchwork panel by @kacy_coyle
