Rest in peace to the best mother I could ask for.

Words cannot describe how much of an amazing and loving mother you were throughout my life. A valedictorian, Harvard graduate, and marathon runner who played such a role in becoming who I am today. I cannot thank you enough for everything you did for me and giving making me into my best self. You fought a hard battle against cancer, but not every battle can be one. Ever since I was a young child, my mother provided every resource I needed in order to set me up for success in life. She worked over time putting her all into, different jobs, in order to send me to college. She was my number one believer and supporter even when no one else was there for me. Throughout her life she was one of the most creative people I knew, and she installed that trait into me. On top of setting me up for success in my future, she taught me some of the most important morals which I continue to learn from her today. My mother was one of the most selfless individuals I’ve ever met and expressed nothing but kindness and empathy towards others. She formed many of my key childhood memories, raising me on a house on the beach and teaching me how to swim. She always encouraged me to study hard in school, and was so proud when I finally got into college. It’s very unfortunate that she will not be able to see my graduate, but I know that somewhere she is looking down upon me. And although she will be missing a huge part of my life, I will continue to live by every positive moral she taught me, making sure to pass down stories and lessons taught by my mother. the stories about my mother. Although she is gone on the physical earth, I will make sure that the Madden name lives on, and that she’ll always be in my heart.

Love you forever and always ❤️🤞 by @kademadden1
