Not every kitchen needs to be completely torn out to feel completely new.

For this refresh, we kept the existing cabinetry and painted it, then added new flooring, countertops, fixtures and lighting. The footprint stayed the same, but the kitchen feels like an entirely different space.

Proof that sometimes you can work with what you have- and still get a pretty dramatic transformation.

Swipe to see the before.

For this simple powder room refresh, the focus was restraint.

A sculptural stone vanity, an arched mirror, warm metal details and layered lighting were selected to make an impact while honoring the room’s existing architecture.

Simple changes. Beautiful materials. A completely transformed space.

Swipe to see the before.

I’m always drawn to earthy tones, natural materials, and layered textures. This living room is being designed to feel warm, inviting, and effortlessly relaxed. I believe the most beautiful spaces are created through thoughtful layering- where every material contributes to the feeling of the home.

Excited to see this kitchen start to take shape.

We’re working within the existing footprint, but rethinking the layout to make use of every inch of the space, with better function, more storage and a much more elevated feel.

Swipe to see the floor plan, elevation and where we started. Can’t wait to watch this transformation come to life! Follow along for more.

This fireplace is going to be such a transformation.

It started with a beautiful slab and a clean, simple design. Construction is now underway, and I can’t wait to share the finished reveal. ✨

Stay tuned and follow along to see the progress.

Thank you @marlon_theslabstudio for the tour of the beautiful stone selections at @the_slabstudio

I am honored to be featured in a recent Parade article by Wendy Gould discussing design rules that may be worth breaking.

Sometimes the best design decisions happen when you’re willing to look beyond the “rules” and focus on what works best for the home.

Swipe to see the projects featured in the article.

Thank you to @wendyrgould and @parademag for including me in the conversation!

One of my favorite parts of the design process is watching a vision move from paper to reality.

The millwork, lighting, materials, and architectural details that started as drawings and conversations are finally taking shape. It’s always rewarding to see months of planning come to life and to watch a space reveal its personality layer by layer.

Still more to come, but this is one of those moments that reminds me why I love what I do.

Mixing modern with vintage is where things get interesting—warm wood, metal, petrified wood… all playing off each other.

Clean geometry + soft curves = balance.

And that balance is what gives a space that collected, curated feel.

Sometimes, a few carefully selected changes can make a big impact.

For this powder bath refresh, we’re updating the vanity, replacing the mirror, and adding layered lighting to completely transform the space.

Swipe to see the before - it’s a good one.

Travel always sharpens the eye.

A reminder that great design is often about restraint - form, contrast, and light doing the work.

It’s the little details that make a space feel finished.

The accessories. The books. The natural textures. The objects that add personality and quiet layers to a room.

Without them, even the most beautiful room can feel a little incomplete.

Styling is the final step that brings everything together- which is why it’s included in all full-service KADI Design projects.

Because the details matter.
