Guess this is how I will live for the foreseeable future—surrounded by Victory, Sort Of. This means, unfortunately, that this artwork was not selected to the auction.

I am a bit discouraged to be completely honest, but I have dealt with bigger setbacks than this and I always come out victorious, sort of (pun very much intended).

At least I truly love this painting and feel, oh so deeply, that it needed to be created… both for myself and for all the people it speaks to. So, I don’t mind living with it a bit longer, until it finds its forever home.

Now, I’m gonna go and be sad for a few & then get back to creating. ✨
