“Three rings for the Elven kings under the sky...”

Celebrimbor forged the Three Rings by himself, and they were never touched by Sauron. They were called Narya (the Ring of Fire), Nenya (the Ring of Adamant), and Vilya (the Ring of Air). Narya was first worn first by Gil-galad, who gave it Círdan, and was lastly worn by Gandalf. Gil-galad also initially owned Vilya, before Elrond inherited it after the former’s death. Nenya was worn only by Galadriel.

“Even Sauron doesn’t know exactly what they’ll do,” says Clark of the enchanted accessory. “But it’s an extra-weird connection between Galadriel and the baddest man in Middle-earth.”

The Actor vs The Character
.
I’m still amazed by Charlie’s remarkable and memorable performances in both Halbrand and Annatar. He was born to play this greatest character. Thank you Charlie for giving us fans the perfect Sauron.🥲🖤

Glûg : How are you still single?
Sauron : Maybe my soulmates died I don’t know, maybe I don’t have a soul.
.

I think Glug is a bit annoying, right? Haha 😝😅 But he's cute. I feel sorry for him. He always comes in and interrupts our dark lord at the right time. poor Glûg🥲🤧

The duel made clear that Sauron still has powerful feelings for Galadriel, which aren’t necessarily explicitly romantic but are the truest show of emotion Sauron can give. Vickers says Galadriel is the only person with whom the Dark Lord can be genuine. He transforms himself back into Halbrand momentarily during their battle, and then eerily invades Galadriel’s mind to say “the door is still open” to him. She rejects him again and declares, “The door is shut.” This is the only moment in the duel when Sauron explodes in anger. Vickers explains why, noting that even when this fight began, Sauron believed Galadriel still wanted to join his side as his queen.
