I am blessed with some amazing women in my life. Women who have shown me what resilience looks like, what kindness sounds like, and what love does.

I believe everybody should have prayer warriors. People who call your name before God. People who love you unconditionally, tell you the truth with kindness, and stand beside you when life gets heavy.

I’m so glad I do.

Today, I pay homage to these elegant ladies. Your strength, your faith, and your love have helped shape the woman I am. I see you. I honor you. And I thank you.

Lately, I’ve been thinking about where God has brought me from, and I am truly amazed.

Through every season of my life, when I was up, when I was down, when I was happy, and when I was sad, God always placed people in my path who had already mastered where I was trying to go.

I’ve shared pictures of a few of the incredible ladies who have touched my life, and it looks like I’ll be doing this for a while because my village is truly that big.

To every person who has poured into me, prayed for me, encouraged me, corrected me, loved me, and helped shape the woman I am today, thank you.

The elegance, grace, and style that have become a part of who I am began with the women my mother placed around me.

My mother has always been my greatest example. Then there were my grandmother and great-grandmother, along with so many other powerful women who carried a quiet elegance. They didn’t have to announce their strength. You could see it in how they lived, how they loved, and how they carried themselves.

So, if you have ever wondered where I get it from, the answer is simple: I come from a huge village of extraordinary women. Their influence is woven into the woman I am today, and I will forever be grateful. by @kaedoubleu
