Hello my friends! My sophomore album, The Great Unknown, is finally all yours.

Releasing an album feels a bit like offering a piece of my soul, but I am offering it to you with nothing but joy and gratitude. This project has enveloped my life for the past several years, and I can’t wait for you to listen.

As the colourful cacophony of the Turpentine album cycle wound down, I found myself starting with a blank canvas for The Great Unknown. While my first album was a collage of relationships from my young adulthood, this time I found myself drawn to exploring a central theme: the turning points that we face in our lives, or the watershed moments where a single decision can change us irrevocably. As I moved through a period of intense change and growing pains in my early twenties, I found myself drawn to creating a more ragged and organic sound that reflected this period of self-questioning. The Great Unknown emerged from the depths as an acknowledgement of existential dread, interpersonal conflict, and the crisis of our planet, while learning how to embrace the messy beauty of growing through it all.

I am so proud of this body of work, and am endlessly grateful to my amazing collaborators for pouring so much of themselves into bringing it to life in all of its multidimensional glory!

Thanks so much to @edmontonshortfilmfestival for selecting “Never Come Home Again” to screen as a part of the 2026 Edmonton Short Film Festival Official Red Carpet Gala!

This music video was the result of my experiment to see if two completely opposite things could work together: horror movies and folk music. My song “Never Come Home Again” serves as a banishment to those relationships that no longer serve us, and I thought it would be cool to see what happened if I tried to interpret that theme quite literally in the music video. I’ve been a huge horror buff ever since I managed to get a grip on the overactive imagination I’d had as a kid (big thank you in particular to Scooby Doo Zombie Island and R. L. Stine’s Monster Blood for many a sleepless night), so directing and producing this project was a joy to undertake. A lot of people had some very strong opinions on this one when it was released, so I’m sorry/not sorry if I managed to subvert your expectations of me 😈

If you’d like to see it on the big screen just in time for spooky season (and BOY OH BOY do I wish I could be there), it will screening at the gala in Edmonton in the evening of October 17th at Landmark Cinemas Edmonton City Centre.

Hello guys I am gonna be so fr with you right now .. I do not recommend trying to balance prepping for a conference, a play, tour dates, recording, moving into a new house and packing for a six-week stint in the Six all at the same time. If you know me, you’ll know I historically have always loved to push myself, but this week has been utter nonsense 😌 Good news is that I leave tomorrow so here I come whether or not I feel ready, and we’ve got two awesome shows in Southern Alberta for our fall tour finale this weekend 🫶

Tomorrow—COCHRANE!!
So excited to play my first concert at Found Books! We are so so close to selling this one out with only a handful of tickets left, so if you’ve been holding out, better jump on them now! Also a reminder to please bring non-perishable food items for the Îyahrhe Nakoda Food Bank (their most-needed items right now include canned tuna/salmon/ham/etc., rice, oatmeal, bannock supplies, and bars of soap). Doors at 6:45, show starts at 7:30pm!

Saturday—CALGARY!!
So honoured to be included in this incredible lineup for TPLNX! There will be two floors of music to light up the Legion, and it’s going to be so much fun! Doors at 6:00, show starts at 7:00pm!
