Right on the heels of “Annie”, I got to play Aunt March (such a princess track) in “Little Women” for @ylsplayers. It was a true treat to work with every single person involved. @charnaleelopez knows how to run a show where kindness abounds! I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to be a part of this show!! What an absolute joy it has been to get to do this role for @swedishtnt and @dancnjenn, on the @rosecentertheater stage with @kiplingkarol starring as Sandy and one of the Annie’s being @avamadisongray, who flawlessly graduated from Molly to Annie! Getting to play siblings with @vincentaniceto and his dumb hotel girlfriend @bernie.colette.peters was a laugh riot I will not soon forget. Great cast, great vibes… that’s The Rose!! Thank you to everyone who made this happen, including all them rotten orphans (most especially @rubymaetoday)! ❤️ love you all… this is one for the books! I will miss it. by @kaerae999

“All Shook Up” was such a special experience with a stellar group of humans. Such love, such respect, such talent, such kindness and such love. I had the great honor to work with former students who are now friends, and met new friends to add to the collection. I am so proud to be a part of the OGs of @ylsplayers - thank you @charnaleelopez @christofmusicgram and @elisejackson33 for bringing it all to fruition. It was such a joyous time of playing. An early influence in my life… Phylis “Randall” Bindley. My high school drama teacher who exposed me to theatre and encouraged that which she saw in me. She is hugely responsible for the journey I’ve taken and continue to enjoy today. She revealed to me how my heart could sing. rest in peace, Randall. Sometimes a loss is so deep that there are no words to express the grief of it. The pain of it is achingly palpable in each moment of your day. That is this.

Forty years ago this month, we opened the show during which we met. We clicked immediately, starting an intensely cherished, decades-long, laughter-filled friendship.

My heart breaks for the plans that won’t happen and the experiences not to be shared, but what I know is that we will always, always, always remain connected… at the heart and in the soul. Because that’s how you existed… you were a bright light that beamed into the hearts of those you loved. Anyone who knew you will understand the depth of this truth.

Dana, my very own Gefilte, I love you so much. The loss of you is crushing. Your memory will live on in the stunning humans you raised, your adorable grandchildren, your devoted husband, your loving family and your dear friends.

Rest in peace my dear, dear friend. Enjoy frolicking with all the animals on that side! You will be missed beyond measure. by @kaerae999
