Sign me up! “𝐻𝑒 𝓂𝒶𝓎 𝒷𝑒 𝒶 𝓂𝑜𝓃𝓈𝓉𝑒𝓇 𝒾𝓃 𝒽𝒾𝓈 𝑒𝓎𝑒𝓈, 𝒷𝓊𝓉 𝓉𝑜 𝓂𝑒, 𝒽𝒾𝓈 𝓈𝑜𝓊𝓁 𝒾𝓈 𝓅𝓊𝓇𝑒 𝒷𝑒𝒶𝓊𝓉𝓎.” I adored Raddison, my dark, scarred and tortured cowboy. Learning about his past and seeing how everything unraveled just broke heart my heart. I love seeing his protectiveness of Peyton and how he always gave off “touch her and die” energy always. You know Rad was completely obsessed and consumed by Peyton as when their connection to one another was revealed he just couldn’t keep away from her. “𝑀𝓎 𝒫𝓇𝒾𝓃𝒸𝑒𝓈𝓈. 𝐵𝑒𝒸𝒶𝓊𝓈𝑒 𝓉𝒽𝒶𝓉’𝓈 𝓌𝒽𝒶𝓉 𝓈𝒽𝑒 𝒾𝓈. 𝒩𝑜𝓉 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝒯𝓊𝓇𝓃𝑒𝓇 𝒫𝓇𝒾𝓃𝒸𝑒𝓈𝓈, 𝒷𝓊𝓉 𝓂𝒾𝓃𝑒.” I enjoyed delving into Peyton’s character and seeing her more than the “typical rich college girl” persona she was giving in 𝓑𝓻𝓪𝓷𝓭𝓮𝓭. She was extremely loyal, loving, protective and brave despite the environment living she was in. I loved how her obsession with Rad rivalled his, I mean her dancing through the windows because she knew he was watching?! Girrllll🤭 Raddison and Peyton were fate. Their souls ached and burned for one another’s, nothing could keep them apart. The chemistry between them was off the charts and as usual the spice was SAK style which means the heat was turned on extremely high! Saffron, will always be a favourite author of mine. Her books are angsty, poetically written with obsessive characters who just call to my soul and 𝓡𝓸𝓹𝓮𝓭 just did not disappoint! It was dark, delicious, angsty, full of twists and turns. I loved the tropes explored in this and the obsession between Peyton and 𝓱𝓮𝓻 𝓟𝓱𝓪𝓽𝓱𝓸𝓶, Raddison. I enjoyed seeing the flash backs from their past and how Alessandra found herself again. Dom’s character development was just *chef kisses*. I loved how he slowly begins to come to identify how his actions have impacted their marriage and the realisation that he just couldn’t live without his amour🥹. I adored how Alé put Dom through the wringer making him fight for their marriage and his little gestures to prove himself was very sweet. The chemistry between Alé and Dom was just incredible and the spice in was 🔥. I just devoured this in one sitting, Ana is one of my favourite authors and this did not disappoint! The character development for both main characters was just fantastic. I adored the cameos and seeing the interaction between them all — the banter was just great! I absolutely love Kirill and Sasha! I cannot get enough of them, I think I’m due for a re-read soon. Rina is one of my favourite authors and is an auto-buy author for me. I discovered Rina in 2022 by reading 𝒯𝒽𝑒 𝐿𝒾𝑒𝓈 & 𝒯𝓇𝓊𝓉𝒽𝓈 𝒟𝓊𝑒𝓉 which took me on a wild ride and I have been a massive fan of Rina’s writing ever since! ─۶ৎ 𝓐𝓾𝓰𝓾𝓼𝓽 𝓡𝓮𝓪𝓭𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓦𝓻𝓪𝓹 𝓤𝓹 𝜗ৎ─ August has been a slow reading month for me, I ended up mostly mood reading. My favourite read for this month was 𝓦𝓱𝔂 𝓛𝓲𝓮? (𝐿𝑜𝓋𝑒 𝑅𝒾𝒹𝒹𝓁𝑒 #2) by @careylolo. It features small town romance and has a second chance trope. This made me pick up the rest of the interconnected standalones in the 𝓛𝓸𝓿𝓮 𝓡𝓲𝓭𝓭𝓵𝓮𝓼 series, which I also enjoyed! I would say I’ve been in a reading slump for the past couple of months and have been DNF-ing a lot of books. I loved seeing her come into own and learning to love herself. Vicky’s childhood was terrible and my heart ached for her so times throughout the book. Mike was fantastic, I loved how he really saw Vicky for her and how he thought for her. He was always attentive and always asking for permission before he toucher her. Despite being polar opposites they both work really well together and I loved their dynamic. All the scenes of them at the cabin were just so wholesome! This read as full of complex characters, the feels, angst and love. It’s well written and well paced, I thought that Susie did a fantastic job of portraying a Neurodivergent FMC. My heart hurt so much for Laney, I cannot imagine seeing your childhood love six years after he disappeared. Laney has endured so much but she still prevailed into a strong woman. London, as teenage made me swoon however London as the man? Oh, did he make me dislike him sometimes with how he was trying to push Laney away. Their happy ending was hard earned with the amount of miscommunication between them but it was so well deserved and I was a happy when they came together! Don’t Take The Girl was overall a fantastic read, full of angst, second chances, twists, love and redemption. It will take you on a rollercoaster of emotions and I highly recommended this read! Enzo was flawed and cruel but not unredeemable. I mean at times I hated, loved him and then hated him again. Sawyer was just so fierce despite being dealt with some bad cards. She was full of wit and was absolutely hilarious. I loved the dynamics between them and seeing how they unfold. The chemistry between Enzo and Sawyer was also just off the charts!! And the spice? I mean holding her head down in shark infested waters during spicy time? ENZO, OH MY🥵 This is a such fantastic read, it is well written, well paced so unique.— everything about it I JUST LOVED!! I found Brig to be such a breath of fresh air, I loved how romantic he was and quest for love. Ruthie was extremely witty, I loved seeing her walls come down with Brigg and her putting herself out there. I loved the dynamic between Brig and Ruthie, their friendship developing into something more after Brig finally realising what he was looking for was front of him. The chemistry they was fantastic, the build of tension and slow burn was just chefs kiss! The secondary characters in this made this read so heart warming and funny. Brig and Knightly family had me giggling throughout this whole entire read, I will miss the Knightly family group chat! This is my first read from Meghan and I don’t think I have laughed out loud so much from a read before! I found this read to have the perfect blend of humour, swoony characters and spice and I highly recommended this heart warming read! Not being able to sleep without her scent? The way he describes her hair being like the sun and her eyes like the sky? It just made swoooon!! I loved how despite his goal for revenge on the “Turner” girl that he couldn’t help but fall for her. I mean this man was so protective of “his wife” and always coming to her rescue. Reverie Bell, she was such a fighter aind I loved it when she didn’t back down and fought Arsen back, I mean when she stabbed him?! I gasped. She is also so loyal and protective. I enjoyed seeing her develop from a timid and innocent girl to someone who was confident and standing up for herself and her beliefs becoming a fire cracker! The tension and chemistry between Arsen and Reverie was sizzling! I think is Saffron’s most spicy book, and the mouth that Arsen Grayson has on him?! Oh my. I mean the spice in this was just chef’s kiss and the mirror scene?🥵. Saffron is one of my favourite authors and every time I pick up a book by her they just don’t disappoint!! I love the direction that BRANDED went in, it’s different themes and darker from her previous work but still contains the classic SAK style. It’s well written and full of angst, intrigue, spice, twist and turns.
