The perfect early fall simple syrup you’ll go back to over and over again 🍂😋 If you love a classic vanilla latte but want a little extra warmth, this Brown Butter Vanilla Bean simple syrup is for you! Recipe below ⬇️

🧸 Brown Butter Vanilla Bean Simple Syrup 🤎

Recipe:
• 4 tbsp unsalted butter
• ¾ cup brown sugar
• ¾ cup water
• 1 vanilla bean, scraped
• ¼ tsp sea salt
• 1 tsp vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste

Brown the butter over medium heat until golden and nutty. Lower the heat and add the brown sugar + water, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Add the vanilla bean + seeds and simmer for 5–8 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the salt + vanilla extract!

Let cool and store in the fridge for up to 1–2 weeks! Butter solids will naturally harden in the fridge, so be sure to take out 30 mins early or run under warm water until it loosens up. I also like leaving the vanilla bean in for even more vanilla flavor 🤎

Add 1–2 tbsp to your coffee and add more as needed for sweetness preference.

Save this one for your next cozy coffee ☕️🍂

I’m messing around with some angles and placement of the grinder so this isn’t the most aesthetic video but we’re getting there 🤪

Grinder: @fellowproducts (linked in ShopMy)
Butter Pecan Syrup: @syruvia_official
Salted Caramel Sauce: @traderjoes

For this delish shaken espresso, I took 1 tbsp caramel sauce and 1/2 tbsp butter pecan syrup (adjust based on preferred sweetness level) and mixed it well with 2 shots of espresso, then shook over ice and topped with a splash of @mooala_koala almond milk! I think the almond milk really brings out the nutty flavors 😋
