POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
*UPDATED* Slots are open starting from January 2026 These prices are reflective of commissions slotted for December 2025 and earlier. We're increasing prices just a little 2026 onwards We are keeping 5 slots open for now, unfortunately neither of us are tech savvy enough to have one of those fancy links for commissions so if you're interested let us know in our dms. A few extra pointers- \('♡')-- Please read this caption and all the slides all the way through! • For commercial commissions we take into account the size of your business, if you have any questions or need any estimates please just dm us :) • Commercial use counts as any reproduction or purpose that is marketed, promoted, or sold and incorporates some sort of financial transaction. • Payment is half upfront and half when it is finished, after which we will send you the full resolution image. • There is no such thing as too many references! We will send very scribbly sketches at the beginning and then keep you updated during the process. Please be prepared for many many many questions 👁👄👁 • The sketchy commissions are SKETCHY this means they are made with a different software (not SAI2) and will not be the tidiest drawings- nor will they be very detailed. These are not up for commercial sale • Extra characters are - £5 • P.S We know these prices aren't affordable for everyone, especially our international followers (:'O). But we didn't want the prices to be too much lower than other artists- because it does hurt the collective. Also keep in mind THESE PRICES MAY CHANGE :0 (not in the middle of your commission ahahaha- but they're not going any lower ^^) #artcommission #commissions #commissionsopen ##muslimart #muslimartist #southasian #illustrationart #digitaldrawing #browngirl #southasianart #southasianartist #bookart #bookfanart #bookishart #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #digitalart #pakistanigirl #characterdesign #characterart #ocart by @kahaneedjinn

I probably had a lot to say when I first drew this, but luckily for you all, I have forgotten. So not a long ramble caption for once! This was drawn last August. 😶‍🌫️🫡 I will say, the original dimensions were very Instagram not friendly (the last slide), the hall is much larger in reality. But i will say. Girl. A Gharara was not the best outfit option to fight a guy in armour. Anyway, I blame the manga strip that we started making after we finished this illustration haha. (Whichever posts first). #instaart #illustrationart #conceptart #desifantasy #fantasyillustration by @kahaneedjinn

(Read from right to left because I instinctively did it in the manga way). This has been sitting in my gallery for nearly a year. Everyone say Booooooooo, shame, shame, shame!! And throw tomatoes. The only context to this art that we made is random girl has infiltrated the General dude's side, but they both kind of know the other could kill them (he loves her really, she hates him for reals). The girl knows she's in too deep now because he's taken over the throne (lawls). Guess they're married for good now. She will take advantage. You can see my botherment for finishing page 2 die somewhere half way through but random girl needed her revenge. But it fills my younger self's soul with joy actually getting to put a story into a manga page. It's definitely an art (I have not yet mastered- particularly those darned speech bubbles, truly you don't realise how easy it is to place the bubbles in places that make the dialogue difficult to follow. Your eyes naturally go to another bubble if you misplace but akdjlwjdk I learnt too late...) Kudos to all the underpaid mangaka. I've done this after so long, are hashtags still a thing?? #mangapage # #comicart #desiart #pakistanigirl #iveforgottentags by @kahaneedjinn

Thank you @kahaneedjinn for the prettiest invite and welcome sign for my mehndi. It was a bucket goal wishlist of mine to be drawn by you two talented sisters and you did the most perfect job. Thank you for taking my half-assed brief of "draw me like a character in a South Asian fantasy haveli setting" and creating this masterpiece from that. My mehndi outfit? The water reflection? You made me look too pretty!! May Allah pour more barakah into your art loves 💕💜✨️ by @kahaneedjinn

When I tell you we actually finished drawing this back in December. Here's Val Hitomi and (;-;) pheonix! That's how behind we are on posting art haha. 🎨 Swipe for the day version! Surprisingly enough, we drew this art set during the day first, (to diversify) and then made the night version. Thankfully, Val's pose still makes sense because the Pehonix is bright :P There are some books that I just adore drawing fanart for (This is not offician endpaper art!) (though there is a bit more fanart coming for other books hoho, 🫡) and The Sunbolt Chronicles is one of them. I think it's because I love Avatar (the actual one) so much and it reminds me so much of it. From the characters, to the seamlessly woven in politics and life lessons. Guys, I have yet to read the third book but I promised myself to read it though a physical copy. #fanart #bookishart #illustration #fantasyillustration by @kahaneedjinn

Fanart? From us! About time, honestly. And Emily Wilde, you deserved better (she's been rotting away in our gallery for far too long). To welcome autumn, here's a wintery illustration (🫡✨️) ask me why I haven't read the second and third book yet (I'm scared. I've heard book two is even better, I'm waiting until winter) I have many reasons. But here are Emily, Bambelby (I.e.Wendel) Shadow, and -with a Turkish delight- Poe :D I'm embarrassed to admit it...but Shadow was not actually a part of the original plan. He demanded attention, however, and so we had to go back and add him into the scene. And then added an extra little scene for him because he deserves it. (He's such a good boi) Clearly, sugar would not be safe around him (I actually had to research if dogs could eat sugar cubes without dying and the answers of 'NO' smelt suspiciously of health based concerns instead of 'this is poisonous if ingested' so I took it as, it's fine.) Emily, as always, has no plan to help Wendell (it builds character) Absoloutely adored Emily Wildes Encyclopaedia of Faeries. I can't wait to read the rest. I just have an issue continuing series I love because I know they'll end :') I wonder if anyone can spot a small spoiler in the tapestry >;). (Again, we couldn't decide which colour profile we preffered so you have the alternative at the end. As always). *I blame Wenddell's lack of black clothing and upturned collars on past Aqsa and Namra who should have done their research properly. Except I'm terrible at drawing black clothing so it was also probably that #fantasyart #fanart #bookishart #encyclopediaoffaeries #bookstagram #lightacademia #igart #emilywildesencyclopaediaoffaeries by @kahaneedjinn

Version number 2 :p (I'm not lying, I am posting many versions of this one hoho) This is really new scary and exciting for me. I CHOSE to give him shorter hair. I know. #shorthairedmendeservelovetoo This is the for the TWO of you who (wrongly) prefer short haired men. This is the shortest it's getting I'm afraid, so appreciate it in its in-our-world-this-actually-counts-as-long-hair. Hope you both are fed. Anyway, Bro look forward I think she's hiding a dagger. Don't be fooled by her outfit. For context you can wait for the non instagram friendly version which will have the long caption we deserve and you (obviously) love :P! Or, for the future people who don't have to wait, you can just scroll through my feed and find the full. *cheaters we all say in unison* In the mean time. Any guesses? The song might help and I kind of gave something away Do you see how mamy watermarks I've sprinkled around. I ain't taking chances. They'll multiply from now on. #southAsianFantasy #DesiFantasy #originalcharacter #artistsoninstagram #illustrationartists #conceptart #digitalartist, #fantasyart by @kahaneedjinn

Hi hi. For once you all are NOT getting 50 crops and a long essays of a caption. You may thank God, the heavens or whatever you believe in including the algorithm for your fate.... ... Instead you're getting three versions of this art (muhahahahhahahahahaha). This is the instagram friendly version! Or should I say instagram friendly v1 (I'm smiling in victory to myself. See next slide for reference.) We spend so much time on the background only for instagram to destroy the quality, so we have changed strategy. But you can try and rip the big backgrounds from my cold dead fingers because I'm not giving them up. Anyhoo, for the context of this art you can wait for the non instagram friendly version which will have the long caption we deserve and you (obviously) love :P! In the (little*) mean time. Any guesses? The song might help *I don't think anyone will actually have any time to guess in actuality #southAsianFantasy #DesiFantasy #originalcharacter #artistsoninstagram #illustrationartists #conceptart #digitalartist, #fantasyart by @kahaneedjinn

Flip for a fun little excerpt* You know how it is, you're trying to post a cute little picture for Bookstagram and you plonk into another world. ✨️ This has been long long long long long overdue. It's been rotting away in our gallery for the last year now (to the month I believe). At this point it's begging me to post, it wasn't created to be imprisoned by the front/ back (?) of my folder, it wants to see the world. I have finally granted it freedom. Fun fact, I draw the clothes I can't afford hoho so Seriyah, you wear the outfit I wanted back then :p The problem, as always, is that I was waiting for the world to stop being on fire for a week but that's literally not going to happen so, I chose possibly one of the worst weeks to post :D Anyway, I'm trying to summon me from a year ago (concentrating to bring the enthusiasm). This was just a fun illustration to draw. I absolutely looooveee the (very niche) trope of someone from a contemporary world falling smack dab in the middle of a fantasy world. It's not something you see a lot on ya/ adult fantasy though. The writing is also closer to our natural style (brackets galore, can you tell?) fantasy characters that sound like they're from our world (kind of dumb and definitely not sombre or dramatic, sorry characters) and less pining (which is why romantic pining scenes are so difficult for me to write, and fantasy worlds with characters that seem almost modern in temperament. I'm much more used to writing characters like Seriyah who has a few screws loose and hasn't led a rebellion. Unfortunately for Seriyah, she only exists in this one scene. Hopefully, she'll be fine (don't worry, her clothing may be strange but she's landed in a world where women have rights *yey fantasy *) *hi from post posting namra. you're all going to have to squint apparantly. Instagram killed the writing quality #bookfanart #bookishart #bookstagram #fanart #yafantasy #illustration #digitalart #southasianartist #bookstagrammer #fanarts #bookart #bookcommunity #illustration #fantasy Palace Brown girl is modern, western desi fusion looking up at a fantasy esque brown man who looks like he's from another world, who is also carrying a sword by @kahaneedjinn

I'm so excited to *finally* share the end endpapapers for Book three of the Sunbolt Chronicles( Debts of Fire) that we've been working on in the last few months. We have Hitomi with a new character (very intruguing) who I can't wait for you all to meet (she's hilarious and gives me major old Toph energy). Incase you haven't seen our last post, the Kickstarter is now live. Please do stalk through all the extra goodies that you can get with all the different editions of books. The link will be in @booksbyintisar 's bio. Anyway, we have had so much fun working on all this art for the Sunbolt Chronicles. It makes it a hundred times easier to draw for something you love, and I hope we did it justice! Debts of Fire expands the world and the magic we already know, and grapples with how Hitomi chooses to react to a world that's put her through hell and still expects so much from her. After all the being-constantly-chased-to-be-captured-enslaved-or-killed though, Hitomi is one of those characters who will still choose to do good, and I absolute love that. It's so refreshing and absolutely necessary in today's horrible world. I actually don't know how I'll survive until book 4 (the final book of the series ;--;) finds its way into my loving hands. Mayhap a reread is in order. I do indeed have the ending now >:) it pays to (whine and whinge in captions) have connections hehe ;) #bookfanart #bookishart #bookstagram #fanart #yafantasy #intisarkhanani #illustration #digitalart #southasianartist #bookstagrammer #fanarts #bookart #bookcommunity #endpaper #endpaperart #fantasy by @kahaneedjinn

We're going to be spoiling you this week with posts! (Very unlike us, I know). Swipe for the full art and close ups! We can finally reveal the front endpapapers for Book three of the Sunbolt Chronicles, Debts of Fire, with you. The Kickstarter is also live! Feel free to stalk through all the extra goodies that you can get with all the different editions of books. The link will be in @booksbyintisar 's bio. The Kickstarter will be up for 2 weeks, and you get to check out books 1 and 2 of you've missed out on those! I'm so incredibly excited to share the first endpapers!! It's been a long time coming (we've been sitting on this art since... December last year, I believe?). As always, it has been such a privilege to work on these endpapers, and I absolutely adored the book. I can't wait to properly read it ;-; If you're looking for a series with: - An ever expanding world and cast of characters - Nuanced depiction of identity and found family - A very loveable optimist protagonist - A classic fantasy journey plot - A backdrop of political intrigue Then, as always, I highly recommend The Sunbolt Chronicles. And I hear the endpaper art is pretty good (hoho) We shall call these endpapaers Hitomi and her chonircles of hair cuts. :^D spoiler alert for the next endpapers. (Or is it?) (Curseth on these Instagram updated, what is the crop? This is the second time we're trying to post) #bookfanart #bookishart #bookstagram #fanart #yafantasy #intisarkhanani #illustration #digitalart #southasianartist #bookstagrammer #fanarts #bookart #bookcommunity #endpaper #endpaperart #fantasy by @kahaneedjinn
