Don't tell us you haven't tried our Spring Cocktail Menu yet? 👀🍸

A fresh season of Japanese-inspired cocktails, with unexpected flavours and a little Kahii twist.

Your next favourite drink is waiting. by @kahiisydney

Japanese inspired cafe by day and intimate cocktail bar at night - this is one of the CBD’s best kept secrets and you’ll wish you knew about it sooner. 🤍

The mixologists, including the amazing Flynn and the lovely Jude (who is ex-Maybe Sammy - so you know it’s gonna be good) are passionate and so talented.

They’ve come up with a creative spring cocktail menu based off tea and coffee and let me tell you - they are nothing like we’ve ever tried before!

Whatever you do, don’t miss:
✅ Mimy (tea inspired)
✅ Before the coffee gets cold (get this last it’s a hot cocktail!) (coffee inspired - obviously)

Their classic cocktails are also great - their Stray Dog is a must try.

Their share plates are delicious - cooked by no other than the amazing @chunga_hector just next door @kurosydney

We tried the:
✅ Quinoa bread
✅ Dashi Edamame
✅ Kuro Fried Chicken
✅ Sydney Rock Oysters
✅ King Prawns
✅ Aged Duck

And a few cheeky off menu items from Kuro 🤫

This spot is absolutely perfect for an intimate date night with amazing cocktails and delicious snack plates.

Save this for your next date night! 🤍

The Mimy cocktail on the left is an absolute must try! 🙌

This Quinoa bread is something else!

They do an absolutely insane Martini - approved by the one and only Martini critic @thefemalegaze.au

You absolutely CANNOT leave without trying this! Before the Coffee Gets Cold. It’s insane.

The man himself - head chef @kurosydney @chunga_hector! Absolute king! 👑 by @kahiisydney

Every Thursday I post about the perfect date night in Sydney where I pick a restaurant (by cuisine - this week you chose Nikkei) followed by a bar which is within a 5 minute walk, because let’s face it - who wants to walk further than that in heels!

Don’t forget to hit follow to see next Thursday’s perfect date night and let me know what cuisine you’d like to see next in the comments 👇

Here’s all the info you need! 👇

The Perfect Date Night 🍽️🍸 Nikkei Edition (Nikkei cuisine is a type of fusion cuisine that combines Japanese and Peruvian elements).

🍹 Order the Before the Coffee Gets Cold as a dessert - it is amazing. But also their cocktails were generally fantastic. Loved their Mimy and the Stray Dog too!
🚶1 min walk from dinner (literally next door)

⭐️ Hot Tip: if you want a cheaper night, swap it round and head to Kahii first for their happy hour ($2 oysters, $10 beer, $16 cocktails & more) 🙌

Save this for your next date night 📌

Turns out a drink at Kahii can fix anything 🤭 by @kahiisydney

save this, for dining experience in Sydney you won’t forget by chef @chunga_hector at @kurosydney

We tried the set menu at Kuro Sydney, with plenty of seafood across the courses, plus wagyu and duck making their way to the table. If you’re someone who wants to try a bit of everything rather than commit to one main, this is the kind of dinner to have on your radar.

The Japanese-Peruvian combination is what makes this one a little different from your usual dinner plans. And there was beautiful creative cocktails from @kahiisydney created by @craftedbyjude in the mix too, which deserves its own little moment 🍸

For your next date night, birthday dinner or catch-up that deserves more than “let’s just grab something”, save these two names together.

P.s., don’t miss out on the tuna carving nights or ceviche making classes.

From the earth, into the glass. 🌱

Inspired by Tomu Uchida’s 1939 film Tsuchi, this cocktail explores the same idea at the heart of the film: what can we create from the earth?

Awamori / Dover Chestnut Liqueur / Cacao / Ryoma Okinawan Rum / Mushroom Hydrosol / Hojicha / Tonka

Earth and wood. Dark chocolate. A subtle touch of funk.
