The ball shot is one of my favorite shots from the @swang x @callawaygolf “Translation” film.

I asked @tryanbran how we could make it look like it was flying instead of just floating there. We went back and forth for a bit, then one day he randomly sent me a test. I was uppppp. 😂

Shot it as the last shot AFTER we wrapped. Boom.

Then @jhubberman ruined my day, lmao and pointed out the ball was spinning the wrong way. I was annoyed because... he was right.

So that turned into another 30-something iterations, comps, and tweaks until we landed on the final shot. by @kahreh

Swang x Callaway - Translation - Announcement Film

Got another one in with my family over at @swang .
Big love to Modi, Josh + Hannah for trusting me with this one.

The film is called Translation and honestly that’s what this one felt like.

A bunch of people speaking different languages, solving different problems, making different plays, all trying to get to the same place.

And man…

Clutch play after clutch play after clutch play is all ima say. Also this is the closest I’ve gotten to making some hectic bossa nova jazz.
