Carlos was born in Dashwood, Ontario, in May of 2012.

From the very beginning, he had a way of bringing smiles wherever he went. His personality far exceeded his surprisingly strong 35-pound frame. He was opinionated, stubborn, endlessly gassy, and somehow capable of falling asleep absolutely anywhere.

Carlos lived a life full of little adventures. He was our COVID bubble captain, a Scotiabank and Botabox advertising model, and never seemed to mind being the center of attention. He was a beachcomber, a short hiker, and a fearless skunk battler. But none of those titles were the ones that mattered most.

His greatest role was being family.

He was William’s best friend and “boy-o” as they grew up together. He was there for the ordinary days that, looking back, turn out to be the most important ones: the walks, the busy mornings, the evenings on the couch, and the quiet comfort of simply always being there, snoring in the corner.

Carlos, you shared our home with laughter, adventure, and more love than a dog your size had any right to hold.
