The LOVELY Promise team asked me to curate a day/evening/night at the beach this year, and so I asked three of my dream DJs to take us on a trip and they all said YES.

Nesse pride month eu tive a oportunidade de desenhar uma camisa pra minha amiga @kaiaa.dj 🌟

Nesse design, busquei trazer elementos genuinamente brasileiros e latino-americanos, conectando história, ancestralidade e identidade visual. Inspirado em grafismos Guarani-Kaiowá, letreiros populares, pinturas de caminhões e na estética cotidiana brasileira, o uniforme carrega referências que fazem parte da nossa cultura.

A ideia de Pindorama — nome ancestral do Brasil, que significa “Terra das Palmeiras” — reforça a valorização das raízes indígenas e da nossa história. O número 7 também foi escolhido pelo seu simbolismo ligado à sabedoria, espiritualidade e profundidade.

Na ponta, a frase “Terra Ancestral” funciona como um lembrete de origem: reconhecer de onde viemos para entender quem somos. 🌟

This pride month I had the pleasure to design a shirt for my friend @kaiaa.dj

In this design, I sought to incorporate genuinely Brazilian and Latin American elements, connecting history, ancestry, and visual identity. Inspired by Guarani-Kaiowá graphic designs, popular signage, truck paintings, and everyday Brazilian aesthetics, the uniform carries references that are part of our culture.

The idea of Pindorama — the ancestral name of Brazil, meaning “Land of Palm Trees” — reinforces the appreciation of indigenous roots and our history. The number 7 was also chosen for its symbolism linked to wisdom, spirituality, and depth.

At the tip, the phrase “Ancestral Land” serves as a reminder of origin: recognizing where we come from to understand who we are. 🇧🇷
