💔😔😭 this has got to be a book lovers worst nightmare !!

- the worst thing is i don’t pack any water in my bag if i have a book with me for this reason !! …. my partner chucked the bottle we got on the plane in my bag and i nearly cried right there on the plane when i found it - all soggy and damaged 📖💦

oh well, it happens - she’s still a beautiful book and now she has an extra story to tell xx

has this ever happened to any of your books?

heyyyy guys !! i’m back !

i haven’t posted in like two months, i’ve been soo bad with my reading, posting and honestly social life in general, i’ve been soo stressed about work and uni and making it work this semester 🙈🥲 aswell as my upcoming holidays, japan (i’m currently here and i LOVE it - my goal is to be fluent in Japanese by 2030 - i might use this account to hold me accountable)

i filmed this video like two months ago when i won the beautiful @leahbrary ‘s 2K giveaway !! MASSIVE CONGRATS TO LEAH FOR HITTING 2K !! 😍😍 if you don’t already, go follow her, her bookmail unboxings are like my favourite thing ever, her personality really shines through her account and she #keepsitreal 📚💌📦

so thankyou once again @leahbrary , for selecting me as your giveaway winner, here’s what i chose 🩷🫶🏽🤭 taken in BOOKSTA by @kaiaslibrary_

Rewind it Back by @liztomforde.author ❤️‍🔥📻🎧💿🏒

Rio and Hallie?!?! When I tell you this book has my whole heart, I mean it. Wow.
The ending… everything about it. It felt slightly unfinished (iykyk), as something was mentioned but i wish it was fully played out…. but at the same time, this book wrapped up the series so perfectly. That kind of ending that lingers with you long after you turn the final page. Now I’m left with that bittersweet feeling knowing the Windy City series is officially over - it truly feels like saying goodbye to characters that became family. A reread is absolutely guaranteed !!!! 110% going to happen, i already miss my found family 🥹🫶🏽

Rio and Hallie are childhood neighbours turned best friends turned lovers, until life pulls them in different directions and Rio leaves to pursue his hockey career. Six years later, they end up living next door to each other again, and the tension is immediate. The yearning?!? The longing?!? The way their history hangs in every interaction?!? It’s seriously everything. This book thrives on quiet moments, stolen glances, unspoken feelings, and emotions that have clearly never gone away.

The romance is emotional, intimate, and deeply rooted in love - not just attraction. The spice is chef’s kiss, but it’s the emotional connection that really makes this story shine. Their bond feels real, layered, and earned, making every moment hit that much harder. This book was so beautifully written, full of heart, and such a satisfying way to close out the series. I genuinely couldn’t recommend the Windy City series more - it’s one I’ll be thinking about for a very very long time.
