October has arrived… and I told you we were going ALL OUT for autumn! 🙌🏾🍂

This month’s palette is all about those deep, rich autumn shades — think forest greens, warm rusts, chocolate browns, deep berries and those gorgeous dark reds we all love this time of year. 🤎

I wanted to pick colours that really embrace the season and feel perfect for those cosy autumn outfits, chunky knits and “I’m ready for my autumn nails” moments. 😂🍁

There’s a little bit of everything in this month’s palette, whether you’re looking for something muted and understated or want to go bold and moody.

October shades:
🌿 Beret — Muted, Grey Green
🤎 Logan Rock — Chocolate Brown with Golden Shimmer
🍁 Fall — Warm, Rust Brown
🌲 Crypto — Forest Green
🍇 Boysenberry — Deep Berry Purple
🍷 Velvet Red — Dark Red with Brown Undertones

And honestly… Velvet Red might just be the colour of the month. 👀🍷

Baby Loss Awareness Week | 9th–15th October 🤍

Thinking of so many of you this week.

This year marks 7 years since we lost our daughter, Ever. 🤍

Everyone deals with loss in their own way, and there is no right or wrong way to grieve.

Please be kind to yourself. It isn’t natural to have to navigate life after losing a baby, and I hate that so many of us have experienced the heartbreak of losing a baby or babies.

To friends and family, please check in on your loved ones who might be suffering in silence. Sometimes, even just texting 🤍 can mean so much.

And if you’re going through this yourself, please know that I’m here if anyone needs someone to talk to.

Sending so much love to everyone carrying this kind of loss, this week and always.

Neurodivergent friendly nail appointments 💅🏾

Some appointments might take a little longer, and that’s fine.

You might not know what colour to choose, and that’s fine.

You might feel overstimulated and music it too much, and that’s fine.

You might feel like my appointments can sometimes take too long, and that’s fine.

I’m neurodivergent myself, and Kaicare Nails is a super safe space for neurodivergent clients. Each day feels different, and each appointment can be different, and that’s fine. When I say I get it, I really do.

The length of my treatments are due to me needing to get to know your nails throughly, and being able to give the best possible advice and service. This doesn’t suit everyone, and that’s also fine.

On my booking system you’re able to see how long each treatment is which I purposely put there so you can make your own decision as to if I’m the right nail tech for you, and if you have the capacity to have a slightly longer treatment.

Music, no music. Talking, quiet time. Snacks, or no stimulating smells. Whatever you’re feeling, just let me know 🫶🏾🤍
