Join Kuiper and Huygen on their eternal road trip throughout the Yonderverse aboard the mighty Aphelion. To lighten the load of galactic travel, they often imagine what life would be like for ordinary planetary existence.

To celebrate the first anniversary of Yond, we are happy to release our first in-house studio project. Kuiper and Huygen are the manifestation of a year’s worth of adventure and lore.

Earlier this year, our team was tasked with creating a versatile social motion toolkit for interview videos. We enhanced the user experience by adding layers of sound elements to increase engagement. The exported MOGRTs have allowed our client to optimize their editing pipeline and content volume.

Here’s my submission for #BounceCollab2023 - I’ve been loving Tears of the Kingdom & this lil’ jelly-filled guy served as my creative inspiration!

I had a blast animating in-game Zonai designs & Sheikah-tech UI elements, from the perspective of Link documenting fearsome beasts big & small on his journey across Hyrule. 🪼💠

When we embarked on our motion design journey, the first thing we all learned was how to bounce a ball. As we nurtured our knowledge and curiosity, we discovered new horizons. The aim of this project was to unite us, reminding us of our beginnings and celebrating our shared passion for motion – now for the second year in a row. And, of course, to have a blast together! “Inside an Animator’s Mind” with @ben_marriott_ is live! 🥳

So stoked to have joined an incredible group of artists from across the globe, each bringing their own unique voice and style to this challenge! It was incredible seeing this come together.

The goal for this collaboration was to represent what goes on inside an animator’s mind. I decided to illustrate not only the power of coffee and how it can lead to inspiration 😉, but also the magic of hitting that F9 key! ⌛️For those who may not know, this activates “Easy Ease” within After Effects, and is a great way to bring some extra life and “eased motion” to our animations. A go-to for a lot of us to bring our drawings to life!
