TRIPSITTA - Paradise (Official Music Video)

Out now on YouTube 👀

Was a hectic 2-day cram, but these boys' energy and care made it one of the most fun shoots I've done in ages 😌

Biggest thank you to my teeneetiny team of legends @blake_actman_youngs @josh_khay_
and of course to @tripsittamusic (who pulled through SO MUCH in providing the amazing props for the indoor scenes) 🌴

THE MELANCHOLIAC PRESENTS: Making the 'Stop Right There' Music Video, told through a series of BeReals.

It's an understatement to say this vid was a fucking long time in the making. Cole thought of the idea back in high school, after a series of events involving seeing the music vid for @dzdeathrays 'The Mess Up' and eating chilli extract before music class. You can imagine how that turned out.

At the time, we of course didn't know it would be for 'Stop Right There', or that the song would even exist, or that the video would even exist. And we don't reckon it coulda happened any earlier or later than it did.

Couldn't have been without our crew: @madzalee @the_film_reuben @daihsxy @sandrokarayan

Or especially without @violentsoho4122 @dzdeathrays @dunerats inspiring us every goddamn gig, rehearsal, and day

And it couldn't have been without the fucking HORDE that is you guys. Whether you were an extra, saw the vid, or have the track a listen, it made every step fun as shit

The video is live on our YouTube page now, check it out if you have the time, we really appreciate it. See y'all in the New Year 🤘🌶️🛑 by @kaigiovanni.fm

The time has finally come 🎉

up to my eyebrows in stress and on the precipice of implosion, but i'm putting out a song with two of my best friends in less than 2 weeks - so all i feel right now is indescribable excitement.

Stay Tonight is finally out 😭

So here is my big post thanking everyone involved, because honestly I would not have been able to do this without the help of so many amazing people.

First and foremost is @mackstruthers and @maddyleite from @exitghostproductions . My brain def gets absolutely mental with ideas and creative ambitions, so big props to Mack for somehow keeping me grounded.

Then if course are the legends themselves, @annoying_neighbours . Still feels so unreal to think back to discovering these guys opening for DZ back in March of 2021. Since I've gotten to meet em, working with and even just being around em is always an absolute pleasure and a fun as fuck time. Always so inspired by the passion and work these guys put into their music @x.harro @pickers_99 @jack.campbell3 @thomashayes24

And lastly are the amazing Aussie artist who inspired this video.
@kinggizzard
@dzdeathrays

Not having much experience with VFX or green screens or even DaVinci before this video, there definitely a lot to learn! But every step was so fun, and I'm so glad I got this opportunity to. Will not ever wrap my head around it.

Thank you all for this video, and all who've seen it - all of you are amazing 🤘 by @kaigiovanni.fm
