Hi! I wanted to introduce myself again, for the new friends/followers that have joined my page lately! 🌈 ✨

My name is Kai and I'm a disabled/neurodivergent creator, currently living in Spain.

Found some pictures of 2022 when I adopted Shelly 🐸🩷 at London Hamley's Build a bear Workshop! (don't let Shelly see the last pic when I was planning on adopting a green frog. Til I saw Shelly. It literally was love at first sight)

I spent all the time hugging him, brought him to a lot of places and I've realised that he's been with me almost all days since then. I love him so much, for real. Also I am shocked with the 3rd pic where Shelly was so soft and new! I sometimes miss the old texture but I wouldn't change his texture now. He's perfect the way he is, so loved! by @kaiglimmers

This plushie account is my comfort place.

Plushies have always been so important to me, but lately I've discovered how much I need them to be better and happier and embracing my neurodivergence.
Plushies are perfect friends, my comfort items, my sidekicks.
They're so important to me...

In my main/art account I used to talk about disability, autism, neurodiversity... But I just needed a safe place to talk about what made me happy, aside from art. I wanted to find my people, my community, other people that collected and loved plushies, like me.

So I am very grateful for finding this Instagram plushie community. Some people post a lot of pics, other people just a few. Some people comment on all the photos, others just give a like. Some people have a lot of plushies, other just one or two. And you all make me happy, seen, heard. You make me feel proud of who I am, with my plushies and my hobbies and all that stuff. I feel like there's no place for judgement here, nor shame for having more or less plushies or taking better or worse pics. Just people who cares about their plushies, who embrace other people to bring their plushies to work.

I have had some hard days, some of them almost non verbal at all. I've been looking at your plushies pics, saving them and reading the captions and I was still bad, but not as bad as if I hadn't seen all the plushies pictures. They help me feel regulated and happier. Thanks ❤️‍🩹

Just before travelling abroad, my dear friend @cachito.de.nube and I (and some of our beautiful plushies) shared a lovely day together ✨

We went to our fav vegan doughnut place in her city and had lots of fun while boldly being our most playful selves 🙂‍↕️🌈✨

I also got VERY happy as my fav doughnut flavour was BACK!!! (peanut butter + strawberry jam)

I really really love these pictures :3 not the best quality but they are beautiful anyway!

Mood of these days: just to be amazed by nature and inner self. Jim Raccaccoonie is being an ✨ excellent ✨ support plushie. I'm so grateful to have brought him on this trip!!!

Today I had some spare time in between appointments so I decided to bring these cuties with me for a photo session 🩷

Still looking for a name for this plushie but I know for sure his surname is going to be Raccaccoonie (in reference to a film that I really enjoyed).

I did some drawings as I'm in my ✨ care bear era ✨ right now

I'm finding so much comfort looking at care bear pictures and I realised how much we need more diverse, disabled bears too (including invisible disability ones) 🙂‍↕️🐻🌈

The autistic one is giving me so much joy ☀️ ♾️ I coloured him yellow as gold is the colour of the autistic symbol!

Photo dump! ✨

I'm not used to this kind of post but I've found so much joy in these little moments and I wanted to share them with you 🩷 they're mostly plushies pictures, but I included some doll/toys ones.

The majority of the outdoor ones are from the doctor's appointments, but I could seek joy in them too. It's been exhausting going to all of the appointments, as my fatigue was getting worse and I was also really tired of using all of my energy and effort to those things.

Also, the beautiful crochet bunny (and the outfit of Ravioli and the sunflower hat of Bartolo) were a gift from my lovely friend @afedi.crochet , who's an amazing artist and a beautiful person too 🩷

I also had the pleasure to collect some Spanish Reubens and send them to @frankie_frog_ , they're in their forever home now 🏠 it was really fun!

I've found comfort and joy playing Harvest Moon too 🌙 forgot to take pictures of the game but I got a pink sheep and named her Piano.
