rūtaments debut stage performance at the Sweet Escape Dance & Film Festival 2026!!

After many long rehearsals and sore bodies later, I’m super proud of this team for pulling together such a fun set for our first ever stage performance together❤️.

Thank you to our directors @jaysu_ @eileeeenkim @dinykim for guiding us through this process and making sure we’re always putting our best foot forward to represent @uprutaments 🙌

If you didn’t know i joined @uprutaments this January!🌱
Ngl it was a real push getting back into the swing of consistent practice after not dancing a lot post college, but it’s been so fulfilling. In the last 7 months, I’ve learned so much, explored outside of my comfort zones and met so many amazing people that I’m grateful to call my team.

As we start the second half of the season soon, I just wanted to share a few pieces that we’ve worked on thus far! They’re not perfect by any means, but that’s why it’s TRAINING :)

So excited to see what else is to come🤍

Last week marked 1 year since I packed up my life and moved across the country!

5 days, nearly 3000 miles and 2 people packed in a sedan with all my stuff. It was definitely a once in a lifetime experience. Big shoutout to the bro @alvamao for tagging along and splitting the drive. We fr got some crazy stories from this trip.💀😂
