MISTY MORNING series

Foggy conditions in the high deserts of Utah are rare so when I woke up a couple of weeks ago to thick fog I headed into the hills behind my house. It was atmospheric magic and I just kept shooting until I accidentally summited the mountain. 😂 Such a dreamy morning!

ADAPT

“In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer. And that makes me happy. For it says that no matter how hard the world pushes against me, within me, there’s something stronger – something better, pushing right back.” - Albert Camus.

BARREN

Miles of barren cracked earth and dust. Where is the Great in this empty Salt Lake? When will we learn that our actions have consequences?

A MINUTE

“If you can fill the journey
Of a minute
With sixty seconds worth of wonder and delight
Then
The Earth is yours
And Everything that’s in it
But more than that
I know
You’ll be alright
You’ll be alright.” ~ Joni Mitchell (adapted from Rudyard Kipling’s “If”)
