Anne of Green Gables👒

“Though blossoms fade and friends must part, old grow the songs we’ve sung..."

I have been struggling to find the words to say goodbye to Avonlea. To say goodbye to a place that challenged me with such beauty. A place that had the most natural connection. A place that was not really a place, but a feeling. Three months ago I never ever would have understood the impact that this show left with me.

Performing in so many shows often gets to the point where you open, you close, and you move on. This show on the other hand was different, from the start. A show I was unfamiliar with, with a company I was newer to, and a cast of about 70 people I did not know. And I would not have wanted it any other way. I have never in my life felt so impacted by a group of people and a story. A special shout out to @josephine.performs for bringing Anne to life with me with such grace and kindness; I will cherish this with you forever. God's timing is always right and unexpected; and what a beautiful reminder of that.

Anne Shirley challenged and taught me so much. She taught me to live in the moment, to breathe, to look around, to question, to love, to enjoy life more. I have never been more proud of anything in my life and I am so grateful for every person who helped make this what it was. A hard goodbye, but the joy of it all is much stronger.

"Anne of Green Gables, in my heart, you are forever young💚🥕"

LVC MT inaugural summer music theater camp...

This show was one that changed my life many years ago when I saw it for the first time- directing me to the path I am on now. Choreographing alongside the director (my best friend) who ALSO helped my find my way to who and where I am today. Putting the show up in a week, which I had only done as a performer for the first time last summer- teaching me my own capabilities.
Now getting to bring my love and experiences to a group of kids that took this all in stride and learned how capable you are when given the opportunity.
Each and everytime I work with a groups of teens I approach with the hope of giving them something that challenges them to understand how capable they truly are so they not only come out as a stronger performer but a stronger person. This group surpassed any and all hopes we could have had and have continued to help me grow as a choreographer and director. I am so proud of the show they put on and more proud of the people they all are. Let's sing it again sometime ♥️ #mogcity #lvcmt #hadestown taken in Lebanon Valley College by @kait_pointe
