Another weekend for the soul ✨
7 girls, 4 days, 40km.

A weekend of chasing tides and swimming in the salt, Sleeping and waking with the movement of the sun and drinking cups of instant coffee. 4 whole days in constant aw and enchantment watching the salmon run, the seals play and the jellyfish bob.

You guys 🥹

I’m sure you’ve all seen that Sancho and I went on our first camping trip this weekend, and to say I’m proud is an understatement.

This horse just continues to amaze me. He travelled so well, settled right in, and took everything in stride. To think we’ve known each other for less than two years, and it’s only been a little over a year since our first ride around the property, is pretty incredible.

He’s grown so much in our time together. He’s becoming confident, loves to lead, and this weekend I think I finally discovered his true passion.

This guy wants to EXPLORE.

He wants to go forward, find new paths, take the lead, and roam the countryside for hours. I’ve had friends and colleagues tell me about their horses’ passions- jumping, moving cows, arena work - and I’m so happy to say Sancho’s is 100% exploring.

Every time we turned toward home this weekend, it was a fight to convince him we were actually done. 😂 He wanted to turn right back around and head for the trails.

I think I finally figured out what makes this horse light up.
